Not too many Firm mattress Makes to choose from

The delivery of the mattress was only available for a months time, where initailly we were verbally estimated 1 week.

Was shown high end bed prices first and discovered I could buy cheaper models by myself

We were stood around waiting to be served by a member of staff having more or less made up our mind what we wanted. A member of staff was on the phone related to business and knew we waiting, but picked up her personal mobile to check her emails before thinking about serving us. As she finished she went back to stacking shelves leaving us to be seen by a colleague who by then had finished with other customers. Our server often didn't know the answer to questions we had or what was available and had to refer to his colleague who was stacking shelves who then joined in our conversation with her colleague while continuing to stack shelves, shouting the answers across the store. She also contradicted the employee serving us. Also we were very disappointed that you no longer stock real feather/down pillows or cotton mattress protectors. We went elsewhere on the retail park for these.

I returned to store having seen a lady called Kerry with the intention of purchasing however Kerry was not in and the staff available did not know the products and could not help me. I returned another day when Kerry was in to ask my questions and place my order. The level of service was very different between the 2 sales assistants.

At the Braintree store I was very satisfied with the help and assistance. However, at the Tollgate Colchester store, where I went so I could try some beds on the ground floor (I use a wheelchair and no lift at Braintree) the staff member Tony R, kept wandering off and leaving me stranded when trying out mattresses. I went back to Braintree where I had much better help, from Patrick, Amanda and Kerry. They moved beds around so I could access the mattresses easier with my wheelchair and stayed to help. They were good with my queries and reassurance when ordering.

Had to order item and pay for item but unable to give us delivery date as awaiting next shipment estimated 2 month delivery which is long time to pay for something before you actually receive the item. Also wanted to order additional item that was on display with this bed but was told we cannot order but can complete form for interest in this item. Very poor in my opinion to have something on show that is not available for purchase.

Our Visit to Dreams was to request an exchange mattress, Having recently purchased a new bed, and my husband had not been able to have a restful nights sleep, and has had to resort to sleeping in another bedroom. The Staff at Braintree dreams (Amanda).was extremely helpful and we were able to find another mattress that my husband found comfortable. Amanda processed the order, but was unable to take the extra payment and give us a delivery date, promising that I would receive a phone call the next day. No Phone call. Have phoned the Braintree branch this morning, Amanda said she would chase the order, but as of now pm I have heard nothing. Disappointed.

Highly satisfied is highly subjective, I have only ever ordered beds n line, but I was satisfied.

Another store colleague tall with glasses walked out from the back of house area and burped loudly which we found fairly un pleasant.
