Dreams - Basingstoke

When I come into a store like Dreams or a car garage, normally you get pounced on by staff about what you want, what they can do for you, prices, recommendations etc. Myself as a customer feel pressured in what I want and I feel as if I need to buy something to get the member of staff off my back. With this experience with Dreams this was completely different my partner and I had time to look around, talk about our idea of prices and what we're interested in. Rylan was very helpful in this process and he came over said hello, asked what we're looking for, if he could be of any help, even gave us pillows to help us with our search etc. He then left us alone to try different mattresses out and see what one was for us, we didn't feel pressured in anyway whatsoever which was probably why we were so long in store. I think that if we'd come into Dreams and before we could even look at products, we were pounced on then I don't think I would have come out with a purchase that day let alone spend a couple of hundred pounds more than what I originally wanted to spend.

The salesman was very helpful

We have been looking at bedroom furniture for over a year, Rylan has been extremely helpful on every visit, nothing was too much trouble and happy to spend as much time as needed. He was very approachable and easy to talk to and connected to my childten very well. On a previous visit six months ago my son had chosen a pillow and Rylan had remembered which one it was. Thankyou Rylan.

The assistant, Carl, was very helpful in making it easy for us to decide on the bed. He neither pressured us to make a decision or oversold the benefits of each type of mattress. Overall the man showed honesty and knowledge. The shop layout made selecting the options very easy.

I bought my previous mattress from Dreams too....I like to use a local shop if possible. On this occasion I was left to browse for a bit before being approached, which I prefer. It's very off-putting to be pounced on the minute you set foot in a shop. The chap then came over and I was able to talk about my requirements and he gave advice on mattress types which would fit with me being an electric blanket user. He also provided a proper pillow to use when trying out the beds and left me to make a decision without any hassle. Once I had decided I was given clear information about pricing and taken to the desk, where he immediately called a colleague to assist in placing my order, apologising that he had another customer 'on the go'. This was not a problem - I appreciated his apology and his colleague took my order straightaway. I was impressed that my mattress would only take just over a week and collection of my old mattress was clearly explained and a bag provided. If delivery goes as smoothly then it will have been a very good experience.

Angelika was very helpful and offered good advice. There was no pressure, and she allowed us plenty of time to make a decision as to which mattress / bed combination to purchase

Carl was very knowledgable about the products. Felt satisfied that we had chosen the right mattresses. The Order process was very quick. We did not feel pressurised.

I returned to the store with my wife in order to make a final selection between 3 mattresses and to choose a bed/base. Rylan immediately recognised me from the previous day & over the course of the next 2 hours took time and care to explain the difference between the products & how best these would suit our requirements.
