Dreams - Southend

We visited Dreams at Southend after a very disappointing experience with another well-known bed retailer. We were approached by a staff member who listened to and understood our needs. After using the mattress gadget, he was able to take us to a fair few mattresses that matched our suggestions. We were given plenty of time to try them out and not pressured to make a rushed decision. Paul was happy to answer any questions and definitely repeated things he had already explained! He knew we needed a bed ASAP and was quick to check delivery dates and matched these with the actual bed frame so that we could make a well-informed choice. We were offered a drink of water on 2 occasions. The bed cover (for repairs etc) was explained but we were not pressured into buying this for both the mattress and bed. Paul certainly made this an easy and pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Dreams to friends and family.

The service was great at the store and the mattress and pillows so comfortable. I am very pleased with my order and have just ordered a sofa bed as delivery was quick - I definitely would recommend Dreams. Also, the social distancing was very good.

Staff were there to help and guide but not pushy which always puts me off. We were asked and given a bottle of water which having worn a mask for a while was very welcome as we had forgotten to bring any water with us. Staff were very knowledgeable and to me got exactly the right balance between being there but not appearing interested vs being constantly pushy etc. I would like to highlight Paul who was extremely patient, gave us all the info we needed, gave his guidance and insight to really help my daughter to choose the most appropriate mattress and bed. We actually went to Dreams first, went to a competitor a few stores down and tehn back to Dreams because of the service.
