Purchased the new mattress and salesman couldnt do enough for us. Very helpfull. We told the salesman that the mattress was going into a loft conversion and involved going up 2 flights off stairs including a turn on the top one. My wife took the day off but when the delivery driver arrived he said straight away that he would take it upstairs. Also went on to say that he doesnt get sick pay so he wouldnt attempt it (his sick pay isnt my issue, whos going to pay for my wifes loos of the days holiday ? I fully expect a call from a senior manager and to cancel our finance agreement.

Where to start? I made several trips to the store and could quote you verbatim the sales pitch of the sales assistant. I found remarks made by the assistant inappropriate and only bought the base from Dreams because I liked the colour. If Bensons, from whom I purchased my Tempur mattress, had been able to match the colour then I would not have bought the base from Dreams. Conversely if the sales assistant had been a patch on the assistants at Bensons then Dreams would have had my total order. Even purchasing the base from a different sales person did not make me feel special in any way and I felt like they were totally disinterested. I have never seen the Manager engage with a customer, acknowledge a customer or indeed smile. I was unable to bring my delivery date forward when I paid the balance but was offered choice of morning or afternoon delivery for which I paid £10, only to be called back five minutes later stating it was not available in my area. Disappointment does not even begin to describe how I feel about my experience at Dreams and I will not be recommending them as I would be embarrassed to do so.
