Left to look around by myself but someone was always there if i had a question. Took my specific back issue needs into consideration when advising/assisting which mattress to buy, and not once was I pushed into buying something unsuitable for me. Very attentive, jovial and polite staff who did not push for a decision, nor did they push me to buy a more expensive spare bed. I was even offered tea while we did the paperwork! Large screen computer on ground floor so that I did not have to go upstairs - which is not something that I can not do easily. When making my purchase everything was fully explained and Stan did not try to coerce me into buying insurance, especially for the occasional use spare bed that I purchased. I will certainly recommend the branch that I visited to friends. In all, my shopping experience was definately a very pleasant experience. Stan even kept reminding me that I was spending a lot of money and checked several times that I was certain about my order and the expense of it - never before has a sales assistant been concerned about making sure that I want to spend that amount of money. The staff at Southend were very friendly and eager to help. Paul remembered me from my last visit and made me welcome. He looked out my previous order so that I was sure of matching the headboards to the bed bases. He printed me off an extra copy. His colleague made me a cup of coffee. They could not have done anymore in the way of customer service. The store looked clean, tidy and inviting.
