Dreams - Southend

We were offered assistance as soon as we walked in the door. My husband and I decided to buy a mattress and Neil explained the different types and which mattress would be best for our needs. We showed an interest in a bed with a guest bed and Neil was happy to show us how it worked. We bought the bed, with guest bed and mattress. Neil explained the order from, delivery, sale agreement. He was extremely helpful.

Sales assistant `Stanley` spent a lot of time explaining all our options in a friendly and unpressured way. His knowledge was second to none and at age 56 this was one of my best sales experiences.

Alex was very helpful at the Southend store and he spent the right amount of time with us. They offered a hot drink which we accepted. A very good range of beds and mattresses were available for us to try.

As a retail manager myself of a store with a turnover of over £1.6m, I know what an average, good salesperson looks like compared to a GREAT one. Stanley who served us was GREAT - one of the best I've seen in fact (IF he had knowledge of my field, I'd snap him up to come work for me!) He was attentive, very knowledgeable, not pushy, friendly and thoroughly professional in everything he did. The store was well maintained throughout. When talking to people about the visit I will ALWAYS mention Stanley because of how good he was - he even offered us a cup of tea or coffee as it was a little chilly out at the time! MY wife loved the idea of the colour-coding system you have - that made it easier to get to what we needed a little faster, but what about people who are colour-blind (there's a lot of us about after all!) NUMBERS possibly as an alternative/as well as?

I have never purchased from Dreams but the salesman Neil was so helpful and can honestly say it makes a change to have such decent and not pushy staff serving. He was extremely knowledgeable and actually suggested the mattress that I have purchased.

We were given plenty of time to browse, without any pressure. Our Sales Assistant, Stanley, was very well informed of the products available and offered valuable advice on the choices in store. We were offered tea and Jaffa cakes, making the overall experience friendly and relaxed.
