Doesn't always pay to be highly satisfied when your order hasn't been delivered yet

I was discussing drawers in bed and the option of sliding drawers was not mentioned. I had to spot them myself and ask if they were available. In fact they were more capacious and cheaper than what I had been shown.

I made contact 3 times to make this purchase. Once in Northampton store w new Mgr Ashley who was very knowledgeable, quoted a very high warranty price and no discount and let me walk out. I looked at the web and had Qs so called the number on the website, got someone in the Poole store with no knowledge or comms skills, but did offer me a discount. I called the Northampton store and spoke with Gary who was helpful, answered my Qs, and matched the Poole price, so I placed my order.

We we’re adequately satisfied. The guy was very friendly. Took a few minutes on both occasions for someone to come to us - not sure if this is good or not. Don’t like being hounded - so maybe ok.

The price tag said 20% off the product so we worked out together with the assistant what ot would come to... when it came to paying the terms were actually 20%off if u buy matress as well. Seemed unusual that the assistant didnt point this out because she didnt know.

We went browsing for a bed and we had plenty of options in store. The best thing is having options and good quality products. Having the option for finance is great also.

Delivery time for the item was longer than I would have liked

Why can't the store offer the same finance terms as what are offered on line. I feel that this type of thing will kill the high street even more.
