Dreams - Northampton

I was attended by a very pleasant assistant who provided me with information on the various types of mattresses. I told her i was only browsing but was looking to purchase a new mattress very soon. But after walking around the store i asked her for some more assistance by the end i decided to buy there and then as your price offer was ending that day and she expidited my order quickly and efficiently.

We knew the style of bed and mattress we wanted. We were shown the perfect option immediately. We bought three beds and three mattresses for our three teenage sons and were given the best possible price with which we were extremely satisfied with. Whilst there the staff were courteous, professional, welcoming and offered us refreshments. It was an easy an enjoyable experience all round. As more people entered the store other members of the team greeted them and our team member remained with us. ?It is evident that the members of the ?Northampton Store team work extremely well with each other and this is reflected in the high level of customer service that we received.

The assistant we saw was highly knowledgeable about the beds and showed us how to understand the way the beds were displayed. We were then left to browse and make our choice without feeling pressurized. He was then instantly available when we had come to a decision and the order was speedily processed.

Quick visit in to the store, we were welcomed but not harassed by staff. Once we found what we were looking for we were able to complete the purchase quickly.

Just a very good overall experience.

We arrived at the st. James branch of dreams on 30th December originally to look for a temper mattress. We were left to browse at our leisure and then we were approached by Larissa. She asked what we were looking for and explained the offers that were in place. She was not pushy and left us to try the mattresses out. She gave us some pillows to try too to get the full effect. She offered us drinks too whilst we browsed and tried the mattresss. She was really helpful and was definitely the reason we chose to purchase the mattress from the Northampton branch rather than Kettering where we live. My partner returned to the store on the 31st to complete the purchase. He had our 4yr old son with him this time and Larissa gave him a drink and some sweets and a colouring sheet to keep him occupied whilst the figures were sorted. It’s little touches like this that make the difference. The sale process was quick and easy and we were delighted with the service received.

It was friendly and efficient.

My husband (John) and I had pulled into a convenient car park so he could replenish his supply of mini cheese biscuits - no thought of anything else. By chance on the way to the store, he remembered he needed to get an item from the car, so I was left to await his return. I was outside Dreams - I’d never been there before, and how could I have missed the Christmas ads. The shop looked interesting and inviting..and WARM. I was reminded that getting a new bed was high on my priority list, though John’s reply was always that our current one wasn’t broken! MAYBE MY CHANCE!! I intercepted John as he returned, and then the Dreams display played right into my hands. Signs that explained that mattresses should be replaced after 8 years - ours was getting on for double that. A large number of beds on display, which you could try for comfort and choose size, colour and other additional features. Wonderfully knowledgeable and friendly assistants (ours Gary), ready to help - no nasty hard sell, just reliable info. So in half an hour we’d ordered our bed - super mattress firm for John’s back, storage divan, lovely headboard, pillows, free sleep monitor - with free delivery. Can’t wait!
