The assistant had no people skills. He was dealing with me and then just disappeared to deal with another couple.. I then had to wait for him to come back and carry on with me. In this time the other bought and paid for their goods.

It was not the sales assistants fault but he didn’t realise that the bed frame is ordered was out of stock and not available until the end of O toner which seems excessive. I was expecting to take delivery within the next week or 2 and now rush I had gone somehow else to buy a bed and a mattress.

The man was polite and quite helpful, until I asked if my order could be delivered with my partners order to his address as I worked nights and would be sleeping. His reply was that he could not do this and that sleep was very over rated. I was very upset by this comment and my partner wanted to cancel both our orders. I stopped him from doing this given the time we had invested in choosing the product. I am however very disappointed that this could not be resolved as now I will have to get up to receive my order.

The finance opinions where less than helpful , the staff didn’t know the password to the finance option on the computer , which lead me to pay out right , an option I could afford but I would have prefered paying in instalments

Delivery of bed. We paid for removal of mattress and bedstead. The store advised this would include dismantling the old bed and went as far as saying that the delivery teams sometimes dispute this so, if there’s any problem, get them to call him. The delivery team did dispute it and went even further by inferring that I was lying, and then refusing to assist when I reluctantly began to dismantle without the proper tools. After heated discussion and a telephone conversation with the supervisor, they gave minimal help. There was then a further inference that I was lying that the removals company got the bed frame up the stairs whole, when they struggled to get it down. There was a complete lack of customer service, culminating in my wife and I having to explain that selling beds makes the company successful and therefore pays their wages and they are damaging that. Both disputed, contending that delivering beds pays their wages!!!? Finally they damaged the handrail on the stairs, pulling a bracket from the wall. I pointed it out, they took a photo and advised that they would complete a form that would lead to us being contacted. No contact received!

I was told I could pay the balance anytime before delivery, I went in store the Thursday before my delivery was due on the Saturday, to be told my delivery date had been cancelled as I hadn't paid the balance early enough!!! Now I'm having to wait another week, as I'm not available in the week to accept a delivery ... the man that served me was lovely, very helpful, but did not say I had to pay the balance that week!! I was so cross, as I now have to cancel my plans for the new delivery date!

I ordered a mattress which was delivered on time - pleased with. I also ordered a double sized headboard which I discussed with the salesman at the time, as regards suitability & fitting for my existing bed. I was assured that it would be suitable, unfortunately this is not the case, I feel I have been misled & will now have to "cobble together" some kind of fitting arrangement. Unhappy customer.

I purchased my item from Dreams Aylesbury. The treatment I received from the young man who served me was dreadful, especially over the phone: sarcastic; rude; refusal to pass me to another member of staff; lying about his identity; most upsetting and utterly bizarre. If anyone wishes to contact me about this they can, however I understand that this matter will be taken up by a manager I spoke to on Friday. For years, I have always purchased items from Dreams and I regard the above as a one-off incident. I wish to commend 2 members of your staff who helped me a great deal, when I turned to them for help. James from High Wycombe Dreams went above and beyond to help me, and he and a more senior manager, Andy, arranged to deliver my mattress to my home on Friday evening, to put right the mess that had been made of my order by Aylesbury and the unfair treatment I had experienced. James is a wonderful employee and excellent representative for Dreams; he redeemed your company in no uncertain terms. The same goes for manager Andy. They put themselves out to help me, even though this was not their problem to put right, and I will not forget this. Please pass on my thanks to them both. Kim
