we went to look for a bed and found a bed and bought it

When we came into dreams the first time to have a look around we were assisted by Colin. He was reasonably helpful but he was pointing out beds that were outside of what we'd asked for. The second time we visited to actually purchase the bed / mattress having done some research and having looked around we were not approached or helped by anyone. We had to ask someone if we could actually buy the bed. I appreciate that we may have just caught it at a difficult / busy time but we did feel a little ignored.

When making payment of the deposit I asked if I could settle the remaining balance over two transactions due to the limit on my debit card. I was told that I could do this by calling in. When I called through to make the payment today I was told that I need to settle the balance in full in one installment. Had I been aware of this upfront I could have made better arrangements to settle the balance today. Now I will need to make a cash withdrawal tonight and go back to the store tomorrow to settle the full amount.

Price of single mattress huge compared to double mattress

The range of products and prices were really good however some of the staff could of been more helpful. At first we approached a gentleman to help us who was quite dismissive and pretty much said "look around try them out and come back and find me when you know which one you like" no attempt to understand our needs of offer advice. Based on this we left. Later we returned to the store and this time spoke to a trainee who had only been in post a few weeks. She was much more helpful however due to being new found it difficult to answer some of our questions. She then went to get the manager who helped us disappeared in between questions when it would of been more appropriate to stand and shadow this new person who clearly didn't know how to perform a number of tasks.

We had to approach a member of staff they didn't approach us

Store is very outdated. Friendly staff but so expensive for mattresses!!

Nobody was on the shop floor when we arrived. Then we managed to find someone and he very quickly passed us on to someone else in a quite dismissive manner

We were satisfied with the help we got ultimately from dean who helped us with our purchase, but the store manager had initially approached us and we began speaking with him and then he just wandered off, leaving us to go round the store again to the items we were interested in, which was when dean approached us and helped us with our purchase.

I had to wait around for ages to be served. It was obvious that I was waiting but nobody said 'won't be long, be with you soon etc' that would have been a nice touch. Instead I had to chase someone around the store to be served.
