Felt assistant was always there didn't feel free to just wander about even although after saying we would just have a look around on our own my mum was with me. I knew what type of bed l was after but just wanted to wander. As soon as we went upstairs within a few mins assistant was behind and start talking about the bed we were looking at.Did find her helpful when looking at mattress.

due to failure of the store IT system we couldn't complete the order. When the store got back to me the following day by phone, the delivery slot we had been quoted had slipped by 2 weeks which wasn't very satisfactory.

I felt we were rushed into making our purchase and were only told about the delivery charge after my debit card was handed over. Also there was a hard sell on the pillows and mattress protectors. There was notices around advertising that they take away your old mattress but failed to mention the fee for this.

Quoted 6 weeks before the bed is in your England depot. Then it will probably be another 4 - 6 weeks before it is delivered to Edinburgh. Had I known earlier it would take this long I would never order in first place.

I bought a mattress on 5th Nov from your seafield store (Edinburgh), delivery date 15 Nov. I took a day off work for this purpose. When I received no communication, I called Seafield and spoke to Godfrey who told me that Kevin (the salesman) had messed up the order and the mattress was now going to be delivered on 19th Nov. This was not the arrangement I made - or was advised of - when I purchased. Godfrey was rude, refused to listen to me and took a "the computer says no" approach. Basically he couldn't care about the consequences of your company's incompetence. I then called customer services. While your operative tried to be helpful, I was told there was no chance of my item being delivered the following day, or at the weekend. Your operative is now looking for another date for me, but it may now be december before I get my mattress. i.e. almost a month later. Incredible! How is this customer service? You break your promise to a customer, are rude to them, and instead of pulling out all the stops, and getting me the mattress as a matter of urgency, my needs are put secondary to the vicissitudes of your computer (which nobody dares argue with).
