Salsman lied about delivery date. Put another delivery date on paper work then rushed through details apart from date. I did not check paper work until following week when bed did not turn up then discovered I had a four week wait. Not happy

During the purchase procedure, the salesman grabbed a pack of pillows, which he presented as a gift.We had spent over a thousand pounds on a new bed, so although we didn't need pillows, it was a nice thought. After completing all the paperwork, he gave us a receipt. At no time did he go through all the listed items. On checking it when we returned home we noticed we had been charged for the pillows ! How dare this salesman do this, we never wanted pillows in the first place. This has left a nasty taste in my mouth and people like him give salespeople a bad name (I worked in sales for many years and I know how hard it is to gain the trust of the public) I will be very wary of shopping in Dreams in future and will pass this on.

Staff was least bothered when we entered the shop. One of the staff just walked past us while we were looking at the beds. We had to ask him as we were not sure of the product specs. Then he pointed towards the entrance and briefly told about the displays kept at the front door without even making efforts to take us to the mattresses and show them. He seemed to be very uninterested in potential customer. The other one was at his desk, busy doing something else but he saw us entering shop. The only way we got his attention when our kid who just went step 2 towards the upper floor. He shouted from his desk at our child and towards us that upstairs is storage and not allowed there. We just wanted to walk out but we were determined to buy a mattress as we were postponing it for a very long time. That was the only reason to finalise the deal otherwise we had every reason to walk out of that place (very unwelcoming). The person became interested in conversation only after he figured it out that we are buying but most of jibberish he was talking was irrelevant. We didn't feel very valued as a customer.

Both myself and my son understood the salesman to have said the delivery cost was £19.99, but when he was explaining the invoice it appeared at £39.99. I could have cancelled the order, I realise that and I could have picked it up (presumably)?, but I felt foolish for perhaps not listening properly. It turns out he didn't speak clearly as again we both mls-heard him explain the cost of some pillows on offer.

As I entered the store I was approached by a member if staff where I told him I was looking for a good matress. He directed me towards the most expensive tildne all about the different types and followed it by saying he would even through in a couple if pillows. I was with my wife, my daughter and her husband we all understood that we were being offered 2 free pillows with the matress so it was a shock when we paid for our matress and were told that was not the case.

I was not informed of the free delivery service in store, which when looking online, the free delivery is clear from the outset. This was not made clear so I wad charged for the delivery without mention of the free service. I then requested a refund but was told it could not be done in store so I had to call customer service, this was not open.

I already knew what I wanted from having looked online at the website, so we visited the Dreams store in Gillingham Business Park, Kent, and were served by "Gary" on 05/09/15. We immediatley spotted the product we are after, so went to have a look at it. Gary came over, asked us if we wanted the product, we enquired about the smart tv that came with it, which he didnt seem to know a lot about, and didnt even demo the product for us or give us alternative choices. Product in question was a tv bed and we would have like to have seen a demo. We were promptly taken to his desk for him to make a sale, and were given no options as to what finance agreement we wanted on the product, just told that we would have to pay x amount over an x period of time. Whether it is a fixed or term or not, im not sure. Found the salesmen in this store very apathetic towards us, was more intrested in making the sale, which is a shame, as previous visits the sales guys have proved to be very friendly. I was almost put off going through with the sale because of the guys indifferent attitude, but my partner wanted to proceed.

We paid a lot of money for a quality mattress, when it was delivered I noticed the corner had a dip and the middle, spoke to a colleague at dreams and said it could be the pocket springs might of collapsed , for an expensive mattress its not acceptable. Very disappointed and have scheduled a pick up and refund as feel that the product can't be as high quality as advertised.
