I had a positive experience inside the store but the gas station itself was not very pleasant. I stopped at Citgo traveling from Savannah, GA to Lowell, MA. I was unaware of NJ law against self service. I understand that NJ must make that law to create jobs. However the employee was kind of rude and was angry that someone that wasn't from the area did not know this rule. I purchased snacks inside and used the bathroom and the bathroom was surprisingly clean. The experience was good overall aside from the impolite pump employee.
