The people here are always friendly. Today she seemed distracted though. She wasn't inattentive, just like she had something else on her mind. And they are the only place in town that sells large enough fountain drinks to last me all day without causing a fortune.

I didn't purchase anything, my friend did. He did say the line was really long

I try to avoid the location at Creasy Lane and McCarty Lane like the plague, but I wanted a fountain rootbeer and they were close. The clerk avoided saying hi because she was talking to another employee. I filled my Pop and went to the register. She again didn't say hi because she was too busy SCREAMING at someone on the phone. She repeatedly screamed, "I've already told you that you will have to call back because I can't do that from the land line". She slams down the phone and rings up my merchandise. I said hi and thank you and so forth trying to get her to talk, but nothing. She started talking to another customer before my transaction was even done asking them what gas pump they were paying for. I got my receipt, thanked her, and headed for the door. As the door was closing I heard her yell out to me, "Thank you darling". At that point, I didn't even reply. I just kept walking. It was absolutely ridiculous!
