Rooms clean...outward appearance not as appealing but once inside nice...staff somewhat tried to help one did not. It was like we were interrupting what he was doing

Location was great but overall out dated rooms that could be cleaned again.

My girlfriend and I were going to a bar in Lakewood and decided due to the weather (it was snowy and the roads were bad) we would get a hotel for the night. We chose Travelodge because of its location. After taxes and fees, our total was $90. The lobby was surprisingly nice. The hallways were very narrow though and the room was outdated. The walls were a non flattering green and the carpet looked old. The lighting was dim and gloomy. The heat was not on when we got to our room so it was very cold. Luckily, it heated up fast. I took a shower and the water didn't get as hot as I would have liked. Overall though, I feel like you get what you pay for and we basically only wanted the room as a place to crash after drinking all night so it served its purpose. I wasn't expecting anything nice, so I wasn't disappointed by the quality of what we ended up with. If I was staying somewhere for a weekend I would opt to spend more for a nicer hotel, but for this situation I was okay with what we got.
