We went for the jack o lantern spectacular. While good they let too many people in at once and it makes it really hard to get through and you end up missing so much because of it, especially when you have a stroller.

Nice, clean park, animals seem happy and are pretty visible.

I used to love roger Williams but felt disappointed the more times I go lately. It seems as though animals are leaving and not coming back. The polar bears were always my favorite and have been gone for what seems several years now this time I went now the seals are gone!! Also the zoo was overcrowded when we went so we had to wait in line to take a peak at the animals and there were smudge prints all over the glass you would think these would be cleaned before opening for the day!!

The spooktacular line was too long. Even with tickets purchased in advance. Not enough guidance. People were cutting in line. It was a mess. The displays were great as always but the concessions lacked organization as well. And the pumpkin spiced beer was warm. Ew. I always bring people to this event and spend quite a bit of money. It needs to get more organized.

I checked the website to make sure that there were no closures due to weather. The website had nothing listed, so my family and I drove an hour down to the zoo. All of the concessions and gift shops were closed. Some of the animal exhibits were closed. I paid $50 and I was really disappointed with my experience.

so disappointed! they held a Halloween Spooky Zoo event for children and they only had one side of the parking lot opened! which lead to tons of small children walking very close to oncoming traffic! it was crazy scary because there are no sidewalks and we're literally head to head with oncoming traffic! not to mention the walk from the parking lot to the zoo was super long! they weren't considerate to small/eldery/larger ppl walking. also, they didn't have much "treat stations" available, which I understand because the treats were donated but still, I'm paying all this money to go battle head on with traffic, walk a mile, and get barely nothing for treats! awful!
