Dreams - Salisbury

I felt the staff were there under sufferance, not rude or unpleasant, just disinterested.

I was not told about the £39.00 delivery charge until after I had paid. It would not have stopped me buying what I bought, but I think this should be made clear before the purchase goes through, as a courtesy.

The visit went very well but the Dreams IT systems were 'playing up', not just on one machine, and this led to a little awkwardness and delay in processing the order. Other than that the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and it was a good visit. The mattress ordered was delivered yesterday during the 2 hour slot on the agreed date and the old one was removed. Although a quick and reasonably efficient turnaround in that delivery the delivers were not impolite or anything but it was somewhat impersonal and 'abrupt'. The additional layer of plastic on 2 ends of the mattress is a good idea but the rather thinner plastic over the whole mattress meant that as the mattress was being carried up the stairs there were 2 tears in the plastic where the deliverers were trying to grip and manoeuvre the mattress - exposing the mattress and in the case of one leaving a dirty hand mark on the mattress itself. Fortunately this mark came off easily and has not left a stain but could have done. Will I go again to Dreams - yes. Would I recommend to Dreams to others - yes.

Rarely rate any experience 10/10. Maybe Price discounting not 100% clear but nothing definite.

By and large I was highly satisfied with my mattress shopping expedition.

Only because the assistant obviously didn't have extensive knowledge of the products.

I was happy with the service and attention that we received during our visit! We don't live locally as we were visiting family and popped in purely to look around. The staff were helpful and the store was tidy. I didn't rate my visit as making me highly satisfied purely because I would only give this rating for an exceptional experience and I wouldn't put purchasing a mattress into this category!

Maybe a little more guidance on what I was looking for e.g. comfort, posture, any specific reason I were looking to rectify, followed by directed guidance

When spending reasonable amounts of money always an irritation to be charged delivery !!

The particular staff personnel at dreams led us to believe that they would remove our old bed and dispose of it free of charge, build our new bed free of charge, give us a matress protector free of charge etc etc, our bed and mattress should have cost £2100.with all of the extras that he didn't tell us until the bill was due worked out to be just under £2700,he was very miss leading and I feel very insulted to think that he could take an extra £600 off of me without thinking I would ask why it was that much more, very unprofessional, very miss leading and totally out of order to be Frank
