Wasn't given the option of the cheapest divan base. But managed to change order via online chat to Liza. Also she refunded us £5 for a mistake the system caused regarding a free mattress protector.

The sales assistant was pleasant and helpful comma but some of his responses were very oddly phrased. I told him my budget and said that going over it would make this month's finances difficult, and he said something like "well those are circumstances which are not in my control and not my concern." This may be true, and polite, but that's a bizarrely robotic answer.

Because it was not very obvious (until checkout) that to have ottoman storage option it cost significantly more than the devan based alone

I was very satisfied with the sales experience and you employee did an excellent job and made the difference so we completed the purchase. We had visited competitiors beforehand and they didn't get our purchase. There is always room for improvement and so I did not select highly satisfied - this question demanding my explanation does add a tinge of meanness on your part and you should follow the lead of your employees by nuturing respect and trust otherwise this might reflect when i next llok for a new bed... celebrate your staff for all their successes, and don't demand the impossible.

It was the fact that I had been to the High Wycombe (Loudwater) storte the week before and the man who dealt with me I had promised would have my order after the possibility of visiting the Oxford store to make a final choice. In the end I ordered at Oxford because the guy at High Wycombe had quoted me the wrong price (He had omitted to apply the 20% discount on the bed)
