I was offered assistance in a timely manner, inasmuch as I wasnt pounced on as soon as I entered the store, but given time to look for myself first. Staff were on shopfloor clearly ready to help as necessary; they werent huddled around a desk. All my questions were answered and I was shown all colour options. When I had made my choice, we were offered a cup of tea/ coffee. I was very impressed that I was offered sugar or sweetners, and the coffee was delicious. All my questions were answered and all paperwork explained to me.

Harmon immediately came up to serve us, listened carefully to what we wanted and invited us to try the bed that in the end we bought. He was extremely knowledgable about the various beds we tried and was very patient when we tried several of them. He explained the various drawer combinations and helped us choose the most suitable one. He was very well-groomed, smart and polite and made a very good impression. He would be an asset to any store.

Michaline, the adviser, was thoughtful, patient, well-informed about the products, and also knew lots about sleep issues and pain. I asked how she knew all this and gather it relates to her training in yoga. She was very kind and helpful, encouraged me to take my time and helped me to think through all the options. This was in contrast to a rather speedy 'sales talk' man, who kept emphasising he was telling me the truth. To be honest, if he'd been the main person serving me, it would have made me distrust the product. I was also very irritated by the repetitive, tinny sounding music. Together with the brash fluorescent lights and this pop music, it was difficult to get a sense of how it might feel to get a restful night on one of your mattresses. Maybe you want people to feel that mattresses are only for 'playtime'? By the time I left the store, despite Michaline's considerate and focused service, I couldn't wait to leave. The music began to feel like torture. My partner felt the same. I heard the same music in another Dreams store two weeks ago, and left after 15 minutes! Perhaps this ear-worm music, supermarket style lighting, and cheap sales talk is something to reconsider?

We were served by Michalina she was extremely helpful. She didn’t rush us into making a decision, we said we were looking for a tempur mattresses, she got us to try several tempur mattresses to get the right one and also different pillows as well to get the best comfort. We asked several times if we would like a tea or coffee which was nice. We also chatted to a couple of other staff in the store and they were also very pleasant. Overall we had a good impression of the store and the staff. It’s nice to walk in and see all the staff happy and wanting to help you that doesn’t happen much these days.
