Dreams - Orpington Springvale

Due to lack of staff on duty, we had to wait for a considerable amount of time whilst sales assistant was dealing with another customer. Would expect more than one member of staff to be on site.

Even though the staff member helping me was very helpful and knowledgable he was very busy so couldn't give me his full attention.

I found that dreams only sold divans with upholstered headboards, which in my opinion looked very cheap and poorly made for the price. It reminded me of travellodge in beds and was not the style i was after. BUT, the woman who served me understood I was looking for something more unique such as an upholstered bedframe for my room and presented a bed she found at her computer which ultimatley I went with. Ideally- I would have liked to see it in store first

This is the 2nd time we visited the Dreams store to attempt to buy a bed because we were so confused with the range of products on offer and the various combinations of bases and headboards. The 1st time we came away empty handed because we didn't understand the terminology e.g. gel filled matresses, memory foam, hydraulics on bed frames, etc. 2nd time around and we are still no wiser, but we did buy a bed because we still liked the same mattress we looked at the 1st time, although I am unsure as to what type of matress it is, just know that it is comfortable and that's what matters. I think that the prices are expensive even in the sale but accept that these are not everyday purchases and the prices are comparable with the life expectancy of the product.

Our free mattress topper was forgotten. Returned to store to collect. Very rude to my partner when collecting. Didn't say a word to her after she asked, just gave it to her and walked away.

Was satisfied on all counts. To put highly satisfied leaves no room for improvement anywhere for your staff to achieve. I was satisfied with your staff and received very good service from James who was helpful and friendly and offered us tea or coffee. He took time to help us in our purchase and we did not feel rushed in our decision. Thank you James.

I have very high expectations and standards.

Price is really high

Our experience was very good but not exceptional

I would never rate anywhere as highly satisfied it's just my opinion I suppose. But we were very well looked after as I had our 88 year old dad there as it was him buying the bed and the guy did offer us a cup of tea so that kept my dad from thinking about his dinner
