The problem was with the card machine taking the payment. So I could not get a receipt. I was told one would be emailed but I still have not received one.

it is unreasonable to expect a customer to wait in all day for delivery with no indication of even morning or afternoon

When ordering by phone, yr colleague offered several 'extras' for free ( mattress cover, sleep 'pod' ) but he made an error and I had to cancel the whole order ! I had to visit your New Malden showroom in person to order the bed all over again. I was then informed that the online offers were NOT available from a showroom. ( Not exactly encouraging people to shop in the High Street, is it? ) The staff member was very helpful, it must be said.

I visited your New Malden store (store number 307) and was approached on arrival by your colleague Abu, who was very attentive and was able to show me a range of products which met my needs. He was knowledgeable about pricing, colours, delivery etc. Once I had visited the stored, I went to Bensons for Beds and had quite the opposite experience. The sales assistant there was too focused on plumping pillows and was not proactive in offering advice or in fact making eye contact with me. It was the fact that Abu was friendly and attentive that made me decide to come back to Dreams to place my order. (The beds at Bensons were cheaper)
