From the moment I walked into the Straiton store I was greeted by a friendly face. Jen was fantastic, listened to my requirements and instantly offered for me to try the Sleep Machine to find out what mattress would be good for me and my boyfriend. Then Jen took me round to test out the mattresses available for me and her knowledge about all the mattresses and frames was incredible. I came back a couple of days later with my boyfriend and Jen remembered our names and what mattresses I had tried out and left us to decide which one we wanted to go for. Jen made the ordering process easy and and she made the experience personal and welcoming in every way.

The ‘simulator’ for taking measurements and the thorough knowledge of the staff shortened the whole process.

The Dreams employee, Paula, that greeted us when we arrived stuck with us the whole way round, was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, reassuring and professional throughout. She also stuck to all social distancing guidelines sensibly as did all her colleagues. Absolutely fantastic customer service and a credit to the company. I have never ever experienced such good service in a shop, and it goes a very long way to making you feel comfortable and satisfied with your visit. We had a lot of questions but nothing was beyond Paula's knowledge, as she really knew her job inside out. I can't thank her enough for such great service!

I was quite anxious about going into the store. I’m exempt from wearing a face covering and get quite anxious going into stores that I haven’t visited since lockdown. The staff didn’t say a word about my lack of a face covering. I did have my hidden disabilities lanyard hanging out of my pocket. They treated me just the same as all the other customers. It was lovely and made me feel comfortable straight away. I didn’t have to go looking for a member of staff. There was somebody there straight away. The process with the bed that does the measurements was explained really clearly. When showing me around the different mattress choices the TGIF member, Jav, listened to what my preferences were and didn’t to push anything on me. When I had finished placing my order I said “that was painless”. I found the whole experience easy and straightforward and never once felt anxious or judged.

Staff were very knowledgeable about the products. They gave you the required information but then left you free to browse at your own pace without being stalked. We were offered tea or coffee and given free bottled water.
