We were purchasing two double beds and one king size. As the bill was coming to £4,000 the sales agent said he would throw in some free pillows, a sheet & with a discount we would be looking at £3,800. This was not the case at all, we didn’t ask for pillows nor sheet but they were charged for - When I asked for those to be removed because I could see they were chargeable he said his manager wouldn’t allow us to have a discount on the beds otherwise. Not sure if he miscalculated whilst walking around on the price but I was not happy paying over £4K. The store was closing so we ended up making the decision to go ahead but on finance, but I am less than impressed with the value.

We had already seen a bed the Bed frame we wanted to buy but as we are not due to move into our new house for 6/8 weeks we wanted to understand how long the delivery time would be. The colleague responded, it depends what colour and what kind and then when asking again about delivery explained she would have to check but continued to stand there and started talking about the sleep machine. Although we had seen a mattress in another retailer that we wanted to purchase we agreed to try the machine. Another colleague came to assist us, didn’t explain the results of the machine at all, just took the piece of paper gave us a pillow and said follow me, so we had no explanation of our results from the eel machine. As the colleague walked us round the store she then stood and waited for us rather than giving us some space to try the mattresses and discuss what we thought. We ended up leaving with just the bed frame but were disappointed with the overall service we received in this dreams store, compared to other retailers we visited the day before.

Happy with the service from Sebastian in the shop. But when we got home with our new rolled-up mattres we opened it up to find that it did not fit our existing bed. We had understood that our bed was king-size and had bought a mattress of this description. However we had not even thought to consider that our bed was European King sized (Ikea) and so would be slightly wider than a UK king mattress. I understand that it is the customer's responsibility to check size, but this is something I didn't even know to consider. I thought all bed sizes were standard. Called the shop to discuss. Weren't able to exchange the mattress because you don't stock European sizes. When we asked whether a return/refund was at all possible, we were told that it wasn't an option at all because the packaging had been removed from the mattress. We now need to buy a new bed frame to accommodate our new mattress, which is an avoidable cost. On your end, Dreams could have helped us avoid this by: - asking where our bed is from/prompting us to check measurements given this must be a common issue - having a suitable returns/refund policy

I asked for the item to be left in my garage and I would accept full responsibility and I was told no as no other companies would do this. This is nonsense, I had all my kitchen units delivered and left in my garage and I have had other items left in my garage. This cause us huge problems.
