David, the salesman at Dreams was superb. However during the ordering process Dreams phone rang and was duly answered by his female colleague who told the caller that 'David would be with them in a second' even though David said to his colleague that he would call the person back. The caller was then left waiting while David continued to process my order ( which in my opinion was the correct thing to do). His colleague returned to the caller after 2-3 minutes waiting time to offer a call back. David's colleague had no interest in me as a customer but thankfully David DID. I left the store thinking about how professional he was in comparison. As regards Dreams store I would have been delighted to see the actual headboard I ordered. There was one on display of exactly the same design but not in the finish I wanted. the reason for my visit to the store was to see a sample of the finish I desired.

Overall experience was good however the purchasing process was quite dragged out and there was a feeling that we were being forced to look at extras well after our interest in adding to our order had expired. All told though Claire was excellent during the viewing process, allowing us space whilst displaying great knowledge of products,.

It was our second visit, as promised during our first visit we expected some discount, but the representative was trying to convince me they can't give discount for the purchases we had that day. i wasn't convinced completely with his reasoning. Finally i gave up as i found myself getting angry unnecessarily for few pounds. I am happy with the service and personal assistance in understanding the products but i felt little unhappy as i had to go through the phase of asking for a discount again and again and getting the same excuse in return which i wasn't convinced at all, as we were promised in our last visit. At the end i realised it was unnecessary because it was a waste of a time for both of us. I think the expectation of a discount just changed the possibility of a highly satisfied experience to just a satisfied experience.

We were dealt with initially by the store manager by did feel slightly discarded as another couple came in and he went off to speak to them. I understand that he wanted to ensure we all had good information and service, but it did feel they once we had decided to purchase then we were shipped off to a colleague.

Discovered 5days after purchase there was 20% off both the beds I had purchased and ordered. However, after a phone call to customer services to say I wasn't happy I missed out on this offer, they agreed to refund the difference. Thank you Dreams.

We felt that placing the order took longer than necessary on your computer system. There seemed to be some confusion over what was acceptable customer id verification and received conflicting answers. When my partner came back to the store with what we thought was the required id she was told that further id was now necessary. This was a bit frustrating which was compounded by additional paperwork requirements.
