Paula the customer assistant was extremely helpful. She offered assistance but also gave us time to think. Staff were happy to move mattresses to test them of different frames.

Chris showed us a few beds that were suitable to our needs, and seemed to be both very knowledgeable and friendly, without being 'pushy.' He showed us a variety of beds and discussed their benefits, and advantages and was patient whilst we made our choice. Without his expert knowledge and friendly manner, I doubt we would have purchased the mattress and other items today. It is a lot of money to spend on a bed, so we wanted to make sure it was the right one for us. Chris also gave us time together to discuss our preferences and to try different beds out alone, which we appreciated. The other gentleman working also came across as friendly, knowledgeable and equally helpful. The store was also nice and quiet, with plenty of space whig contributed to us feeling relaxed and able to make decisions!

The shop assistant was incredibly helpful and patient. She even gave me and my girlfriend a cup of tea. However, not so much a criticism of the assistant but the company's policy that meant when ordering from the store I had to pay for the delivery compared with ordering online being free. Economically, it makes complete sense to order online for my circumstances. However it created the awkward situation for me of making the assistant lose out on a sale and all the time she had invested in making sure I chose the right product. After being persuaded by my girlfriend 'to do the right thing' I did buy it from the shop. There should not be this competitiveness between online and the shop. There should be some system where the shop is recognised for generating the sale so such an awkward situation does not happen again in the future. I would also like to add the caveat that I have yet to recieve the mattress so despite saying I was satisfied with the product, I won't know that until upon delivery of the product and after the 40 days.
