Just a general experience, first time using dreams

The team at the store were very helpful and pleasant. Demi helped us choose our bed and mattress and was very down to earth! The problem we had was with the mattress. We chose the Therapur Actigel 1000. It was fine in the shop but once we had our own delivered, it was faulty (rip in the corner) and very uncomfortable! For the price of the product, this is a terrible mattress! very hard and hurts my shoulders and back to lie on it.

I always feel there should be room for improvement!

Have been in store before and bought a bed and had more offers or freebies available this time purchasing an ottoman bed frame and mattress although received a discount wouldn’t even throw in a set of cheap pillows although on placing order I ordered a more expensive mattress

Products are slightly more expensive that on line but I wanted to view product first

I didn’t get accepted on finance but that is not dreams’s issue, i would have got my bed sooner rather that paying the deposit and having to save over the next 6 weeks or so. But that isn’t problem as I have a poor credit rating dreams were faultless and I was extremely satisfied with the alternative option.

Still expensive

I began the order process online; the site (which I was using via my mobile phone) was glitchy on times and I had to re-enter details into the same box/s several times on occasion. Additionally when I selected the Finance option, the company were unable to verify my identity thus I was informed I would receive documentation by post to sign and send back. As I want the items as soon as possible, I contacted the Dreams Customer Service team via telephone and the help I received from your agent 'Nick' (scottish) was fantastic. My items are ordered, delivery date sorted and finance arranged. Extremely helpful and friendly chap.

All in all it was a good buying experience, we got what we came for, it was an expensive purchase but after discussion we felt it was the right purchase for us. The person we dealt with in store was knowledgable and attentive, and didn't try and hurry us into a decision. I could have given top score, but there's always room for improvement :)

It took a long time to actually order the mattress once we'd made a decision.
