The sales assistant made inappropriate, personal comments during service. For example, when giving me the packaging for my old mattress to be collected in, he commented “if you have trouble, I can come over and help you”. He also gave me a set of pillows, he did not mention the price or any kind of payment for them. It was only when I looked at my bill later, I realised that I had been charged £12 for them, this was not told to me at the time, I also did not ask for, or show any interest in the pillows. He then used my phone number, for delivery details, to call me personally. He left a voicemail which began “you forgot something... it was my number” and then left his personal number for “if you like me”. It was a huge violation of my privacy as well as the Data Protection Act. I also noticed that he came out of the shop after I had left and appeared to be following me. At the time, I thought he may have been going to a nearby coffee shop, but after receiving that message I feel as that he was following me. This made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and frightened. I will not be returning to this shop.
