Slightly disappointed that we were left to stand outside for 45minutes after calling prior to visiting the store and being told no appointment was necessary. 100% appreciate COVID guidance however the fact we tried to book an appointment which was also stated on the stand in front of us at the door to then be made to wait was disappointing

I felt that the covid guidelines in place at Dreams were excessive. As customers, my partner and I like to browse before being approached by staff. In Dreams, we were not allowed to browse without a chaperone which was very off putting and I almost left whilst waiting for someone as Brnsons for Beds had a similar one and let us walk around. There were only 4 customers in the store so could not work out why such measures were there. In all stores before and after, we were allowed to peruse at our leisure. Dreams comes across very intrusive and pushy with their measures. We had already chosen a bed online and just wanted to check the quality before purchasing. Had we not already chosen a bed, I would not have stayed. Also, we had a higher budget in mind but not being able to browse, we didn't bother looking at other beds in store and opted for the cheaper one. I appreciate Dreams may feel that the rules are there for customers, but you should really consider the balance between keeping customers safe and making them feel comfortable. The gentleman who served us was as helpful as he could be but he was obviously following guidelines so this is not a reflection on him.

Overall a good experience, the person dealing with us was very informative and pleasant. We felt we did not get the opportunity to browse around the shop to look at other items not chosen by the diagnostic assessment, but still satisfied with the outcome.
