Dreams - Cardiff Newport Road

Our experience at Dreams could not have been better. We went in with no experience of buying a mattress and came out completely satisfied that we'd made the right choice. Pam helped us by explaining the features of each mattress and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Because of the second to none customer service we received from Pam we decided we'd buy our bed from Dreams also. All in all we were very happy with the service we received and the price we paid for our bed and mattress.

I viewed and decided the items I wanted online but placed the order in store as I wanted to explain that the order was to be delivered to a holiday chalet in Gower and not to my Cardiff address and that I did not own a mobile phone. I imagined all sorts of problems but they did not materialise. I chose a suitable day for delivery and on that day I received a phone call at home to say the beds etc would be delivered during a 2 hour window just as I was leaving for Gower. The van turned up and the beds were assembled in no time by a very professional and friendly Ashley. The whole experience, from the ordering with Richard to the delivery couldn't have gone any better and I wouldn't hesitate to place future orders. A first class service.

During my visit I found all staff very friendly but not over pushy. I was served by Richard. I visited to store twice that day. Richard remembered my name and the products I was interested I’m purchasing. This gave me a relaxed feeling. Customer service is so important I’m such a competitive industry. The staff couldn’t do enough to help me. Even when staff were busy and new customers entered they were acknowledged and I was not abandoned at the desk. The store is very well set out and I did not feel intimidated trying out the beds. Will definitely return in the future as the prices were competitive yet reasonable. Well done Richard and staff. Excellent costumer service.

The sales assistant Richard Was absolutely amazing, friendly, informative, patient and really helpful, probably wouldn’t of purchased if it hadn’t been for him

Well informed and friendly staff, who while attentive, weren't pushy. Good range of beds with a range of price tags. Made it very easy to make comparisons and find the bed that was right for us.

Sales person was quick to understand what we wanted and gave us the appropriate options, without trying to get us to purchase more/at a higher price than we required, eg we purchased 2 mattresses, one of higher and one of more basic quality based on expected usage, and also purchased the additional guarantee on the higher value item. Sales person also very friendly and chatty, but whole process still efficient and quicker than expected.

Excellent customer service, Assistant able to answer all my questions and explain about the beds and mattresses. Friendly and patient with myself and my Grand daughter who the bed was for. Will always make my first visit Dreams when buying a bed or mattress in the future.

We visited Dreams with no real intention of purchasing anything. Pam approached us and was really helpful however she was not pushy at all. We talked through what we like and Pam explained all of our options and even expanded past a bed frame and mattress explain about pillows and mattress protectors. We left to have a think about it and returned an hour later. Pam was not there but we were greeted with a warm welcome by her colleague. He explained Pam would be back in 5 minutes but if we needed any help to let him know. I felt this really represented the shop well knowing that they worked as a team and not against each other trying to get as many sales as possible. Pam returned and again there was no pressure to purchase anything but we were supported and guided all the way through the sale. we are now excited for our new bed frame, mattress, pillows. Mattress topper and headboard along with the insurance cover on the bed . Not bad for a Sunday where we did not plan to buy anything. This is all down to Pam’s expert knowledge and the whole shops attitude around sales, if the shop assistants had been pushy I would have walked straight back out.
