My service was to have included a/c work and a new set of four tires. Once I arrived I was told that the a/c charging machine was broken so the a/c work could not be completed. Additionally the tire installation resulted in a scuff/mar on one wheel which will need professional repair (I’m dropping the car off on Monday to the Big O location for that task), and there is noticeable front tire shake at approximately 70mph.

I was charged $200 for just labor for not even 2 hours of work which i find to be horrible especially cause all i had done was an alignment and a tire installation also they broke off one of the emblems on my rim and didn’t offer to reimburse me or anything

I have been coming to this specific big o w/Ron Poindexter, your garage mechanic since the middle 1980’s. I have ALWAYS driven my veh. into the shop and ALWAYS had a rotate and balance @ ~5K miles. Tom Staker says no need to balance tires and now I’m not allowed to drive my car into the garage, like he’s cutting costs at my expense. I did NOT like the atmosphere between him and myself. I did NOT appreciate the way I was dismissed. My first thought was having another garage do my work and I would also buy my tires from the OTHER garage. I am very unhappy. I hope Tom is happy with the little bit of money he saved ushering me out so quickly and damaging my professional relationship with Big O.

I have been a loyal Big O ( clarksville Ind.) for 40 plus years and have never been charged for service regarding my tires even if it wasn't a big o tire until friday the26th. i had a nail in my recently purchased ford escape whose tires are factory. I was charged for fixing this. Never before have I ever been charged because I always buy my new tires from big o in clarksville I guess loyalty means nothing to that store anymore. very disappointed.

Should have gone to Costco like everyone told me. Extra$ added on, didn't get rebates because tires didn't come in when expected.

The first man I talked to, Jon I think, was GREAT! He is a veteran and we talked for a few minutes about life outside of tires. He is awesome. The salesman, I can’t remember his name…maybe Tom? He was condescending, impatient, repetitive, oversalesy, and rude. He ignored my questions and concerns, kept trying to sell me new tires, and rolled his eyes and huffed when I repeated my questions. I’m not an expert, but I like to learn and he didn’t care one bit about teaching me anything except how to pull out my credit card. I will say, I got a free tire rotation and inspection of my tires and they checked my alignment ALL for free. I won’t ever be going back, but I do appreciate the help. My car doesn’t wobble on the highway anymore (at least not in the front), which is all I need for now. Thanks, but only to the veteran and the technicians that did the actual work. The other guy (an elder tallish skinny man) should carefully consider how he talks to customers (or potential customers). He ruined my experience and single handedly lost my business at that location for a decade. I assume he’ll retire by then and I might give them another try.

Associates need to have customer service training. One of them should at least recognize that I was standing in front of them. Plus 2.5 hrs for an oil change seems a bit too long. No comment from anyone on how long it would take, I was not told an estimate.
