Too slow.

The staff wasn’t friendly and was giving controversial directions. The chicken friand was dried out and over baked. The cage overall looked dirty. No free bread even though it’s not COVID times anymore. Many empty shelves. Looks half abandoned

Slow service, employees didn’t seem like to appreciate my business and wear masks.

I understand that it is hard to get workers now but the service was horribly slow due to lack of staff. The staff working were making an effort to get the food out as fast as they could but you do need more workers.

Clearly there are too few staff working during Saturday and Sunday mornings. There are long lines to order and often the orders get confused. We have been going there for over 10 years and like the location and the general experience has deteriorated with the slow service. Please get it back in order.

I was satisfied, but no plans to return in the near future, since dining choices are limited.

My salmon was spoiled and the server argued with mth that it wasn’t never offered a different menu item

I ORDERED PASTA DISH WITH SHRIMP. THE SIZE IS GRADUALY SHRINKING THAN WHAT I USED TO ORDER. THE DISH IS NOT WORTH ALMOST $19.00 FOR FEW TINY SHRIMPS AND TINY BIT OF PAST BUT GENEROUS AMOUNT OF SAUCE THAT I REALLY DIDN'T CARE FOR. IT IS ABOUT TIME TO RECONSIDER THE SIZE OF YOUR DISHES.

The soup was not hot enough; the ceasar’s salad was limp because the lettuce was not fresh, the fruit salad , likewise was not fresh . The restroom handicap stall had no toilet paper. The restaurant good do with a makeover, it’s dingy.

Our family has made it a weekly tradition to come to La Madeleine on King St every weekend for breakfast. On most if not all visits we order the chicken friand. 7:35am and no chicken friand, we were very disappointed when the said ‘30min’ wait for the next batch. I know. It’s not something to complain about, maybe someone made a large order and we walked in right after that… just wanted to vent. Service was wonderful as usual, place was clean and orderly. Coffee wasn’t very hot, but not big deal. Thanks for your time in reading my ramblings.
