The location in the heart of Old Town is perfect. The managers and associates are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and reasonably priced.

Breakfast at La Madeleine is delicious and very reasonably priced when you compare it to places like IHOP and Dennys. The prices are about the same for a regular egg breakfast at all three places but La Madeleine just tastes fresher. The other places have bland dry eggs that taste like they have been sitting under a heatlamp.

Decor & ambiance fabulous. Staff attentive. Food non pareil.

Cafe was clean. Lines were short. I had no problems ordering and my food was quickly delivered. Food was good and the cafe had a good atmosphere. I had no problems at all.

The food was good, i had a Chicken Parisien which is my favorite from this restaurant. the cashier was quick at sending my order to the kitchen. and followed up with it so it could be done as fast as it should.

Today the Washington, D.C., area was hit by a winter storm that dumped lots of snow on the ground, causing many restaurants not to open, but the Old Town Alexandria la Madeleine did open due to the efforts of its manager, Rob, and staff including Ingris, who took my order. I was most appreciative if being able to have breakfast this morning at la Madeleine.

Good location for me. Seats overlooking King St. Abeba is there. She's great!

Our food tasted great and it arrived quickly. The staff there are friendly and nice. But the place needs some updating. Many chairs have paint chips on them and the restrooms are usually marginal. The mend restroom urinal has been leaking for a long time.
