The checkout process with 120% authorization amount was scary for my mom to use. When she saw the charge on her account it was much larger than the invoice so the bank thought her card was stolen and did not authorize the payment. So billing was an issue but everything else was AMAZING. And will 1000% order from la Madeleine again.

My best friend and I have coffee and pastries there almost every Saturday. The reason we are there is because of the location, the food, and the service. We are normally there for 2 hours, sitting at the chairs outside enjoying the sun and the local environment. The excellent coffee and associated pastries make the mornings all worthwhile.

The location of this restaurant in Old Town, Alexandria, VA is ideal for everyone. The associates and managers are always very helpful and friendly. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced.
