Big O Tires

A couple months ago, I had the oil changed and asked for the brakes to be checked. I thought that there was a problem. After the service I was told that the brakes were fine. The problem I thought existed got worse, so I took the truck back to Big O to check the brakes again. Almost $1400 later, and the problem was fixed.

The pricing of an oil change is a bit misleading. The prices are listed under $60 on the website and for types of oils, but then when I was in store a simple oil change with regular synthetic oil was almost $100. It was way above my normal charge, but I was in a hurry because my husband and I are heading out on a 10 hour drive and I needed the service done.

Ordered 4 tires on 6/19/21. Was told 3 to 5 days I'll get a call to have them installed. Call never came. I called back on 6/30/21. So no timely follow up call even if tires may have been delayed somehow.

my tire was insured and no charge for that but i had to pay a fee of over $40.00 to have it ballanced and other costs , I do not feel that I should have to pay any fee when it was insured

I don't feel confident that I am getting an honest work done. Example, had a courtesy alignment coupon, told the associate to do an alignment if it was needed and of course they did an alignment. I wasn't shown any paperwork to show me how bad alignment was messed up. got charged $9.50 for "shop fees". Whatever that is. Just feel ripped off everytime I come into this store. Worst mistake was buying tires here and having to come back for rotate. Always get charged for something even when its supposed to be a "free" service. Can't think of 1 time I didn't pay for something when I came in for the "free rotate". 100% will never come back after my tires wear down and 100% would never ever recommend anyone come here. POSITIVE: I love the free wifi and waiting area is clean. That is something I can give an A+

Train staff to solve problems and not guess. I was told several ‘facts’ that were not true once the mgr got involved.

Estimate price - $720.33 Follow up phone call I was told the price would be a little over $20 more, but he didn't know why. I don't remember the exact price. Actual price = $741.44. On the invoice are the following charges: Tire Disposal $15, Waste Disposal $17.70, Shop Supplies $25. The last two charges look suspicious. I email customer service and was told to talk to the store. Apparently corporate does not want to hear about store problems. I called the store and was put on hold. After 10 minutes, I gave up waiting.

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Oil change was completed. Tech told my son he could not perform a tire rotation because the tread was too low on the rear tires; the tires on the vehicle are almost new. I don’t get it. Not sure what your tech was thinking. Possibly he was improperly trained or maybe he didn’t know how to do a tire rotation….disappointing.

When i got home after the oil change, i noticed oil dripping from the engine bay onto my concrete driveway. Will have to return to get this checkout. Billing was not as promised in the coupon used. Result is it cost more than i should have paid. Got charged for shop supplies which was suppose to have been included in the coupon special. The dollar value of the coupon used in this visit included everything except oil disposal and sales tax.

Stop taking advantage of women who come in by themselves. No need to sell them goods or services that they don’t need.
