They were out of the regular gas. The attendant sold the next grade up for the regular gas price for the couple people that were there trying to get gas.

The road sign offered a fuel price of 2.11/gallon. I waited in line to get to a pump because other gas stations in the area were selling gas for 2.59/gallon. Speedway next to this gas station offered gas for 2.32 per gallon. I am usually loyal to Speedway, but I thought I would give Murphy a chance with the price. After getting to the pump, the pump showed 2.37/gallon. I was looking at the road sign still showing 2.11 and cars flooding into the parking lot, lured in by the false sign, and the pump price much higher than the advertisement. This should be illegal (false advertising). Instead of paying at the pump, I had to get my 3 year old daughter out of the car and we went in to pay, hoping the attendant would fix the mistake. The only thing the attendant said was "Well, thats still cheaper than other gas stations." Knowing the level of service that your store offers, I would have paid the extra couple of cents per gallon and stayed loyal to Speedway. I did call customer service, and they sent an email code to make up the difference on my next visit, if I stop in again. A couple days ago I tried to, but ALL of the pumps were closed with the "out of order" bags. Strike 2!
