Need faster service

By Gaga H | 10/6/2017
I purchased a Walmart Gift card specifically to use for gas purchases at the Murphy Gas Stations. When I tried to use it at this station, I was told they did not accept the Walmart Gift cards. I also tried to purchase a lottery ticket at the pump. The pump did not accept my request, but gave no reason. I had to go inside and wait in line to straighten both issues out, therefore, extending my time at this station much longer than necessary.

I paid for the car wash at the pump and the sign on the car wash said open. When I got to the screen to start the process the said it is out of order. I have been back the last two days and the car wash is still down. It is very frustrating. I don't think I will ever use that service again with your company due to the lack of up keep on your equipment.

Wanted to pay at the pump, but was unable to. Had to go inside. Didn't particular care for the inconvenience of having to go inside and wait in line.

Because, I am female alone at pump. I pushed the button for unleaded at 2.35 a gallon and it went to super at 3.009 per gallon. I did not know this until I got receipt. I was watching my surrounding because there was someone hanging around station, and walked around where I was pumping. Being careful. If I had known it was costing me 3.009 per gallon I would have stopped pumping. Cost me more than I expected to pay. Just not right. Fill cheated.

Pump would not function. Tried repeatedly. Would take my card and have me go through prompts but would not let me select fuel type or dispense fuel. Sent my adult daughter in to store and she was given a shrug as a response. Attendant never attempted to resolve issue. Recieved three zeroed out receipts and no fuel for my trouble. Went 5 miles down the road to fuel up my vehicle.

I filled my truck with gasoline at $2.659 per . Another customer said she had passed the station that same morning & the price was $2.50 something. She asked the attendant why it had gone up so much from that morning? She also told the attendant that the current pricde was more than L & L & Exxon down the street. b The attendant explained that y'all were trying to "raise the market price" so that other stations around would raise their prices too!!!!!!!! The customer asked if that wasn't price gauging. The attendant explained that the state sets the limit the gas price can be raised. This may or may not be legal, however you can bet I will not be a return customer & I have shared this info on facebook, by telephone & conversations with friends, family, & strangers. GREED, GREED, GREED! SHAME on Murphy's. I am sending a complaint to Roy Cooper, NC State Attorney General who I went to high school with & all the TV stations & other media outlets that I can!
