The staff were very friendly. Some of the equipment was broken which was disappointing. One thing that has been dissatisfying on my last two visits, were schools that were there on field trips were out of control. They were running wild, taking items from other children, jumping off of equipment, pushing etc. this made it hard to enjoy the museum. The chaperones were usually in a corner speaking with one another, or on their cell phones not paying attention. It was just mass chaos and made our trip shorter and not as enjoyable.

LOVED this museum! We were very impressed and bought a membership. We intend to visit several times next year. Really looking forward to spending re day here. We were there 3 hours and it wasn't enough time!

First time going here yesterday. Very impressed. Our 8 year old daughter had a great time. Really amazed at how the place was put together.

One staff member roamed and engaged with the kids & parents. She did a great job. Another just sat at an exhibit downstairs...while she smiled when I spoke with her, I wasn't sure why she was there. Really wish there was a joint membership with Elmwood Park Zoo available for this year. Also, there are several exhibits with parts that don't work. Haven't worked for the duration of my membership. But new stuff gets added. New stuff is great, but what about a system to maintain/evaluate existing equipment/exhibits?

I absolutely loved the rugs with cars and blocks in the open foyer area! My daughter enjoyed playing there as well! Padding under the carpets would be great. My wrap from the café was soggy--it'd been there for a couple of days, but I didn't know until *after* I bought it. I was hungry, so I ate it anyway, but next time I would ask for a refund--the food is too expensive for it not to be fresh. Several installations are broken and have been all year. A new one is now broken (one of the flower petals that kids paint from white to red), and I hope it can be repaired soon. One lady at the downstairs exhibit with the boat wasn't really engaging with the children or parents...she was just standing there, kind of checked out. Maybe she was having a heavy day...who knows. Not even sure if she was there for security, questions, or what, but a "hello" and a smile never hurt anybody...just basic human kindness.

It's alright. Very nice on the ground floor but the basement exhibits are packed in and it's way too crowded. Building is beautiful and my daughter loved the carousel.

A few of the staff seemed extra nice during my visit. One young woman seemed to be rotating through the exhibits to engage with the kids--great idea! Wish there were more people in her role! Frustrated that some exhibits still don't work after several months of my being a member. Is there a process for evaluating and maintaining/fixing them? Grateful that the large summer/day care groups weren't there; can be very overwhelming for my 2-yo (and for me, too). Wish there were microwaves on site--my toddler is picky, so I have to pack food for her, and wish I could heat up the things I bring. The café food is good, but a bit expensive.

Good time with my toddler daughter. Lots of school groups though. Wished there was a way to know how many groups were scheduled on a given day, but I guess I could call. The crowds can be overwhelming for my 2-yo daughter. Staff was friendly and helpful!! Front desk staff could be a little more engaging/welcoming, but overall, they get the job done. Food is always good. Love this place!! Love it most when it's not overrun with little people. ??

It's an okay place for adults. Great for kids, but too much having to run after them.
