We come to Churchhill every year for derby fast and opening night. Always a great time however this year we purchased tickets to be seated undercover. We had a little bit arraignment buying those seats paid off! Always a great time we will see you again next year!

I was super in impressed with how many horses were scratching. It was raining and the turf was off but even the dirt races. I've never seen so many scratches for an event like opening night. Lots of 5 horse races so we left after the 8th. We were in sky terrace level 6. The room was half full and the tables were so close together it was miserable. The tables should of been spread apart with 6 seats instead of 8 at each table. I could understand if it was booked full but our company had the whole room and line 16-20 tables were empty.

It was an awesome experience. I've never been to bet but it was a fun experience.

Could improve upon the customer experience

Love horse racing and Churchill downs, I've never been to the infield before and I was expecting crowds, it just seems like there would be a better way to stream line 1)placing bets and 2) exiting the infield. Again, I realize that derby day is insanely popular to attended, however these two activities seemed very unorganized.

Crowd control was embarrassing.

I went for the derby. The only good part was watching the horses. The crowds were way too big, and pushy. I stood in line over an hour just to place a bet. I missed several race because of it. I should have waited longer to leave. The crowds were still terrible trying to get out. Also, it was $4 for a bottle of water. That's ridiculous! The food was over priced as well. So, over all the experienced sucked.
