Fun family park

Park was great, haven't been there in over 20 years! Water park was also awesome. My family had a blast!

We loved this amusement park! There was a great selection of rides for our family. Our kids didn't want to leave because they had so much fun! We'll be back next summer!

Good but pricey

We love this park and will definitely return (we have season passes). However, on this visit, we did have a few negative experiences with the staff. At a food stand, the staff seemed very undertrained and weren't able to even answer our questions about the size of a menu item without consulting someone else. Then, they put together our food and let it sit there while everyone stood around doing nothing. They didn't give it to us until we asked for it again. They also failed to return our wallycard to us and made us walk across the park to get it back at guest services. Another one of these experiences was at one of the game stands where the worker refused to allow one of us to play. She was the only one from our party to play, but there were several other players there and plenty of open and functioning seats. She was told that since it was a competition, she needed two people to play. (Despite there already being three or four people there who had not yet started their game and had arrived only seconds before us.) At other game stands, we were able to have only one person from our party play with others, so her reasoning didn't make sense to us and she offered no additional reasoning. On the other hand, we did have plenty of positive interactions with staff. For example, one of the security personal even came up to us and told us about a drinking fountain for our dog. (The fact that the park is pet-friendly is another big plus as we can't leave our dog alone for long periods of time and didn't have a pet-sitter.) The food was good tasting and the refillable cups are a good deal for us. All the rides were great (as always) and ride operators were friendly. We didn't visit the water park but we plan on returning soon to see the new wave pool. Overall, it was a good experience.
