We came from Hot Springs, AR just for the purpose of visiting this zoo. It never disappoints!! The cages are always clean and well manicured. Animals have plenty of space to live and employees are well trained with knowledge of their area. Even though it was 100 degrees we enjoyed the day with plenty of shade and air conditioned exhibits. I always enjoy the Texas area. This is an impressive zoo!!! My middle child is 19 and loves visiting zoos. This is our favorite! I have my first grandchild due this year and already plan to bring him here when he's old enough.
