Friendly Service and took my car in to fix the tire without notice.

Gerry and Dmitri were great. They gave fantastic customer service and were able to rectify my issue immediately. Had a sidewall tire blowout and came right before closing, came in- spoke to Gerry and he had me in as soon as possible the next day to replace it. Stress free and very easy. If I didn’t already have a usual shop, this would be my next choice. They were able to help me find an affordable but good quality replacement tire for my damaged one. I brought my car in at 8 am as they opened with no appointment and they took my car in no questions asked and were very friendly and knowlegeable.

Recently took my wifes vehicle here. Outstanding service from both Trevor and Drue. Very knowledgable and made us aware of issues without being pushy with us making the repair. This location now has two new customers.

I have been loyal MIDAS customer at my MIDAS on Portage Ave. Apart from my loyalty I further express my gratitude by doing reguylar baking (The Cookie Lady as they call me!). With the4 exception of two questionable managers I have been over the moon pleased with the management and staff. They have gone out of their way to be helpful and fair to myself, my Mom (recently deceased) and my sister. Along with references to many friends. The staff there now is quite new to me, they don't really know me and I haven't been baking much this year but they will get to know me once I pick up that pace! LOL. The only non-automotive frustration we have as a neighbourhood toward MIDAS is the intolerable summer Sunday Night car rally and their parking lot. We know it is a pain to MIDAS to close off the parking lot but it would certainly help the situation.Every Sunday night we discuss whether we should sell our home. The nhoise, traffic and garbage left behind is disgusting. Any way I/we can help MIDAS close off their lot we are happy to do that. Our MIDAS has always been a good community neighbour.The prompt removal of graffiti on the back wall is appreciated.We hope they continue doing that!

I can't say enough about this shop. I've never had a better experience with a mechanic in my life. I will never take my car anywhere else again!

Gerrymandering wad exceptionally helpful and friendly. I don't live in Winnipeg, which is why it is improbable that I will be able to return to Midas for most repairs. But if I DID line in Winnipeg I would definitely make Midas on Portage Ave. my main service centre.

I was treated with clear communication what I needed and what it would cost.

Generally the recommendations seem to be a way of taking more money out of the customer. These recommendations vary when cross verified with other garages!

The work on 2 vehicles I was responsible for was completed in appropriate time. Obe was fairly urgent and the other was not. The staff were very cordial and helpful.
