Never met a more rude staff. Sorry for wanting my snow tires installed and to do it through you. I won't be back. Been a big o tire customer in another state for 20 years, but not here.

The manager Mark was unwilling to be helpful even after I contacted the owner and Michelin Tires Service Department. I do not feel Mark is suited for the position he is in at Big O. He is gruff, aggressively unhelpful and challenges the very nature of customer service. I have shared my story with others in the Jackson Hole and Victor community with people having similar results as I have experienced with Mark. I suspect Big O Tire in Jackson enjoys collecting a decent if not big profits even when the manager is rude and unwilling to go the extra mile, or even extra foot in my case. I can't help but to think its Big O way to take advantage of less assertive customers who are unwilling or unable to face the bully tactics Mark presents. Sure, things were finally "made right" and I am rolling on a new set of tires but only after I stood up to Mark's aggressive demeanor. Getting to that point was more work than any customer should have to experience. As a result of this I share my story with others in hope of shedding light upon the poor customer service Big O tire in Jackson Hole.

I went here after I found a nail in my tire. They told me that it was going to be about 4hrs wait time. With nothing to do and it was raining out. I waited took them a few hours. To get to it they where super busy that day. The staff was very courteous and helpful. When im back in the area ill be getting a new set of tires from them.

Your store is a scam!!! Not once but twice now your employees have tried to sell services they have already completed! And my wife fell for it! She had her coolant flush on the oil change previous to her last one and they told her she needed a coolant flush again. And she said yes. Something didn't feel right so she checked her records and they had done it last service! And they could see they had done it last service, because it's in your computer records! Fast forward to this week and they try the same scam on me! It's a good thing we keep good records! Did we a refund or a discount No!!! They don't tell you exact prices! We won't be coming back! We won't be recommending! Check your Yelp rating! It's pathetic! As an owner you should take more pride!

I just wanted to relay again, how great it is working with John when I come in. This particular visit I showed up promptly at 7:30 only to find a line of about 30 people in front of me. I had a slow week that was progressively getting worse in my front tire and needed to get it fixed for my safety. I was unable to leave my truck that day bc I volunteer at Hole Food Rescue and do deliveries to families in need at 12pm. John assured me I could leave my car and he would get it done. 3 hours later my tire was fixed and I was on my way to volunteer. I cant thank you enough, nor can HFR for helping us that day! John not only helped me out but encouraged me to pay it forward :)

It is very difficult to give your store a rating on these issues when my overall experience was so poor. I had a flat tire which was not fixable. Your employee, that initially worked with me, was helpful. He showed me the tires on hand that would work on my vehicle since I was traveling. I approved the purchase. My wife and I went for breakfast while the new tires were mounted, which your employee said would take 45 min - 1 hr. In roughly an hour, I received a call from Mark but I did not get it answered, so he left a message. The message was that, in addition to recommending an alignment, one of the wheel bolts was stripped when the lug nut was removed. (I saved the message). Back at the store and arranging for payment, the employee pointed out that the wheel bolt was stripped and that I MUST HAVE DONE THAT WHEN I PUT THE SPARE ON. I disputed that since the lug nut spun on without issue when I put the spare on. Mark, the manager, mentioned in passing that he left me a message but offered no further explanation or help. ANY NUT THAT I HAVE EVER PUT ON, WHICH IS EVEN SLIGHTLY MISALIGNED, DOES NOT SPIN ON, IT REQUIRES SOME FORCED EFFORT. Furthermore, if it was cross threaded being put on, it would have damaged the treads all the way and not just at the end. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE (I still have the original lug nut). The message he left was after they had installed the new tires, not when they had discovered a problem. If they realized the bolt was damaged when they removed the spare, why wasn't I called then to discuss options. Realizing I was getting nowhere arguing my point, I asked if there was any risk to driving with one missing lug nut, your employee answered not at all, four of five is fine. In checking on that I discovered that it IS A RISK BY PUTTING EXTRA STRAIN ON THE OTHER FOUR. I left your store with the intent of stopping in to the next Les Schwab store in my travels. I didn't have to wait that long fortunately. I had a tire store in Driggs, Idaho look at the tire in question and they thought the threads on the wheel bolt looked fine, just need to replace the lug nut. He said they did not have that specific lug nut in their inventory, but that I could ask at the local auto parts store. They fortunately did have one which I quite easily threaded on to the "damaged" wheel bolt. I spent just a shade under $1000 at your store for four new tires. Had Mark taken the time, as did the employee at Driggs where I spent $0, I would have left your store a contented customer. He DID NOT, and I DID NOT. Now I have to take more time and take my car in to my local tire store here in Yakima, Washington to have them check out WHAT YOUR STORE SHOULD HAVE DONE BEFORE SENDING A PAYING CUSTOMER BACK OUT ON THE ROAD. I can assure you, I won't be having Big O Tires here in Yakima do the work (although I may stop and explain to that owner my experience with your store). Mark, or the employee that offered the explanation, may not remember the incident OR may dispute my version BUT I still have the voice message and the original lug nut to back it up. I did have it checked out and to be safe, did replace the bolt, all at a cost of $36 (parts and labor) and 1 hr. Regardless of how it was damaged, that should have been discussed when the problem was realized and dealt with at the time. Do you really think I would have disputed a $36 charge when I am paying almost $1000 for tires. Again a phone call should have been made as soon as a problem was identified, not after when I am making my payment. At this point, the proper response, send me my $1000 and explain to Mark the concept of customer service.

Mark was pleasant at first. Walked in wasn't greeted by the other gentleman and then Mark walked in. I explained to him my problem got s flat tire and wanted to replace the two front tires. He said great asked the make and model of the car. I told him and never did he walk out to the car with me to make sure the right one. Never asked the color the plate nothing. So we agreed two new tires on the front with a alignment. I hand him the keys he says it will be 3 hours. I go to work get a phone call 3 hours later telling me I needed a brake line flush a coolant flush. I just got my car maintenance one month ago. I say no then he tells me it will be done in an hour. I get there and the other gentleman looks up "oh I can't help you" which is strange thing to say to a customer. Mark comes up 5 minutes later and explains how I was given the wrong size tire on my car. I think this is odd since I bought the car new off the lot? So he tried to get me to buy two more tires for the back since they were wrong. I explain I'm just trying to make it home I will have my husband look into it when I get back. Then he says the price $598.24 what did I just buy? I tell him that's a little high for what I got. He tries to argue the system says that's the price and I can read it if I don't believe him. So I just ask him to look over it again. He's like oops it's actually $564. So I pay get the receipt head home a 4 hour drive. The next day my husband and I go to the BigO in Logan to see why we had the wrong size. He looked at the car looked up the specs. Turns out Mark was wrong and gave me tires that were too big for my car. I also noticed a warranty was added to my bill which I never was asked if I wanted that. I asked the guy at this location what we can do since it's a different owner. He called Mark and then told me I will be receiving a phone call to return the price of the warranty. Mark called me and he was so rude never apologized for being wrong was just all huffy and puffy. The fact is I was given the wrong tire just apologize that's all I wanted but nope. So please look into the store I feel customer service is not there and communicate with your customer.

I worked with Mark today for a leak in my tire and not only was he super friendly, they were efficient and fixed my tire as a complimentary service as I am new here to Jackson. I will definitely be going back for any other maintenance and upkeep. Thanks guys!

I have never dealt with a business that went out of their way to provide the most self-interested and dealer convenient service in my life. What I mean is that all interactions benefitted the sales associcates and the business and their convenience versus my own. I am irate. I am pissed. My opinion of Big Os is garbage and I hope for the sake of your integrity that you inquire to my situation. I run a business, and what I witnessed with your operation disheartened me. Please improve.

I went over a pothole and it created a bulge in the sidewall. I called Big O in Jackson and they ordered the tire for me. I was scheduled to spend the night in Jackson, went in the next morning at 7:30 and the tire was changed and was on my way by 8:15. Excellent all around!

Jon was superb, helping us to replace a damaged tent trailer tire, and upgrade the remaining 2 whilst traveling through Jackson. We even received excellent camping advice, and staff checked tire pressures on the car too.
