I set up an appointment online. Basically, I wanted an oil change and all my fluids flushed. When I dropped my truck off, they didn't ask any questions, it didn't appear to me that they had record of my online appointment because I had to give them my name, phone number and told them I just wanted an oil change and general fluids flushed. They never called with a quote, nothing. I called later in the day and they told me it would be another few hours. Still no quote. They called later and botta bing $749.07 later, I picked up my truck. Not saying my truck didn't need it, but it didn't seem to me like there was much integrity in the transaction or the experience as a whole.

Brought my car in for smog/safety check and was told that I had only 2 quarts of oil left in the engine. For some reason, oil had been burning off. They filled my engine of oil as a courtesy. Outstanding service!

Well, Im not sure what to say. My car was a mess (things to fix). I had the following problems: 1. defroster/heater blower was not working only when it was below 32 deg. 2. lighter outlets stopped working 3. my battery had died and we replaced it but I asked them to check the alternator to be sure that I wasn't going to just drain the new battery. 4. check the brakes 5. oil change # 3,4,5 they did and I have no complaints. I would rate them a 10 on those. #1,2 were the tricky things and they didn't seem to want to tackle them. My car isn't new(a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara). They told me that since Suzuki is out of business they cant get a replacement part for the heater. Well. I think there are a few problems with this as Suzuki cars are not out of business and the grand Vitara is still in production. Enough said. for some reason the heater worked this morning and it was below freezing. But they told me a fib. and that makes me question their competence. The cigarette lighters not working... they said that the car hair dryer I was trying to use (to defrost the!@#$ windows) had "probably melted the wires under the console" and that they would have to take it apart to see and left it at that. They didn't offer to do it. just basically told me it was a hassle so they weren't doing it. All that said. I would bring my car back for basic maintenance, but I would not bring it for any other problems.

my wife and Ihad always gone to the competition, when we decided 2 years ago to try BIG O TIRES - they are very professional, they listen, and care how they treat you, and value our busy schedule - we are very pleased we made the change -

They were quick and easy to deal with. Great service and help! Only bad thing is when I got my car back they said that they changed my rear tale light. Someone then told me on the road that it was still out. When I got home I looked and the bulb was just sitting in the light casing not even plugged in. I then turned on my lights and now my front driver side isn't working. They messed up my lights really bad! I spend a few hours having to undo what they did to my car.

I ordered the exact Michelin tire I wanted and they retrieved them from the warehouse for the next day. They called me when the tires came in early because I was busy that day and had an appointment later that morning. Things worked out great.

I've been taking my cars to the Cottonwood Heights store for several years and have usually been very happy with the service and feel like I'm being treated honestly. However I was disappointed with my last visit and it has me questioning my continued relationship. I've taken my car in every 5,000 for rotations and oil changes. I also recently had new tires installed. I had never been told that there was an issue with my brakes being worn. I specifically brought my car in this week because the brakes were making a horrible sound. I told the rep that I need my brakes looked at because I fear the pads are worn and while it's here I need an oil change. An hour later I got a call an hour or so later saying the car was ready so I asked him how the brakes were and he said they were fine. I told him that would be surprising because it was making a horrible grinding sound. He said he would take it on a drive and have it looked at again. It turns out that the brake pads were completely worn to metal on metal. I'm disappointed that this wasn't caught on previous visits? Shouldn't this have been something that check during the "Healthy Car Special"? It certainly would have saved me from a very costly repair.

Went in for a LOF and to have the battery checked. Service was done quickly and battery was replaced so that I don't have to worry about not starting as the weather gets cold.

I felt that the guidance I received on which tires, why and the best price/ value decision was excellent. I brought the car in for the tire installation and ask for a suspension inspection and if everything was okay and alignment. I came to pick the car up and was told it was ready but could I leave it because the mechanic wanted to put the car back up on the alignment rack and check a few things? So I left the car a second time and picked it up after hours. When I looked at the computer printout for the wheel alignment, the rear wheels were further out of alignment (the "after" printout) than they were on the "before" printout. I took the car back in, making it for the third time on the alignment rack, and was at that time told that something was bad or bent but they didn't know what. I could buy some custom replacement parts that would allow the alignment but would not correct the original problem. I was also disappointed to find that some kind of detailing oil had been sprayed on my tires, including the spare which is mounted on the rear door, as well as all over the back door, the back window, the rear bumper and on the side wheel wells of several tires. I find the guys there very cordial, genuinely helpful and pleasant but the diagnostics and communication leaves something to be desired.

Ken, Nate and the crew are the best. It is great to have a neighborhood shop that can take care of your autos and be friendly and honest.

The email receipt and what I had to pay ended up being about 200 dollars different. They said there was a mistake on the first one, which wasn't my fault. Would not have got it done if I knew it before the fact but they didn't say anything until after. Im the one that paid for someone elses mistake

Went in to get my oil changed and tires rotated and did not have a pleasant experience. The price of the oil change and rotation was quite high ($70) and did not include a preventive maintenance analysis as the website advertises. On top of this, it seems I was charged the tire rotation seperate as well even though the website states a 4 tire rotation is included in an oil change service. If the tire rotation was actually included, the price charged for an oil charge service is overpriced. For $20-30 more, I could've gotten an annual maintenance plan at a dealership that would've covered my vehicle for 3-4 oil change services which would include the oil change, tire rotation, fluid top off, and multipoint inspection. But, this is my fault for not asking the prices before accepting the services. Now I see why the prices for these services at this location aren't advertised on the website. In addition to this, my vehicle's check engine light came on after driving approx 3 miles after my car was serviced. I went back to the shop the next morning where I was told that the error codes coming up were dealer codes so they are unable to help. In other words it was a case of Sorry, not our problem. My car had no mechanical issues prior to this visit.

You can also see my previous reviews for more details. The guys at this store continue to be great and exemplify "personal" service. They always work around my schedule and make working on my vehicle (which I hate to do) very convenient. How many places can you go where "everybody knows your name"? Funny though, I know their names as well. If employees have been there for years, that tells you that its a good place to work and thus, a good place to do business. Ken, thanks for having a business that "adds" value to the community.

I had new tires put on from Tire Rack and they drive really well, I am happy with them. However when I picked my car up my glove box and center console contents were all over my passenger seat. The trunk had been gone through also. There was black grease on my carpet inside the car on the passenger side, both doors, on the drivers side and also on the hood of the white car. I called the store and asked for the manager and was told I was speaking to him, his name was Nate. He offered to clean the grease up if I would drive the car back but after 2 trips to the store from 9800 S. I just didn't want to take a chance on his idea of "clean". I also don't think he was the manager but I might be wrong.

They are so great! They always take such great care of us. Whether it is an oil change, or major repairs. The manager, Nate, is AWESOME!

I had a CV joint replaced. I was provided an estimate of $220 (I wrote it down in my notebook) for this service. The invoice though came to $134.91 (parts) + $157.43 (labor) + 19.97 shop supplies = $312.31. Maybe I mis-heard, so I will repeat the estimate back to the service advisor next time, but I believe I was misquoted. Your shop has serviced four of my cars for the last 10 years, so I'll continue to patronize your business. Just please double-check your estimates before providing them to the customer. Thanks.
