Overpriced, was quoted (estimate cost $60) almost $700 (closer to $800 with the estimate cost) for a job i got done ELSEWHERE much closer, rated 5 stars, nearby, for less than $300 which was done later that same day as the quote from Midas. The garage where I got the work done was full of cars barely any room to fit car in parking lot, Midas by comparison was empty and only had one car in garage. I see that branch closing, and if indicative of Midas as a whole will be going out of business.

Try getting a quote for installing one of their famous mufflers. No chance. I suggest you find another local service/dealer and go direct where you actually deal with a real live person. Very disappointed...

Midas is an overpriced company that lies for absolutely no reason. Midas has very rare business to the fact I dont know how they stay open. I was told my power steering horse and pressure switch was a 700 dollar job and that all the peices have to be special orderd. Yeah right! I was told leave a deposit and they would call me when the parts came in. I got all new parts from AutoZone. I paid 50 bucks for the hose, 113 for the pressure switch and 125 for labor from a regular guy who works on cars as a hobby. Also the pressure switch was not even needed. I only brought it because they told me i did as if my old one was broke. Which wasnt the case. Car only actually needed hose and power steering fluid. To sum it up midas on 79th street is a bad and overpriced company to take your car to.

"THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!They replaced my battery, and even if it was in guarantee they didn't let me have it to bring back to the shop. They replaced a terminal and didn't put the bolt!!! so the terminal was left loose and I have a dead battery again!!"
