Had my oil changed they informed me I need part in my engine. They would order it and call me. Waited 2 1:2 weeks and no call I went by and they told me they had it but it was sent back. They would order it again. They quoted me $150 for the job and it would take 30 minutes. I've been here a hour and still not done. When I asked for discount for the unconvince they said of course and showed me a bill for $166. I asked where is the discount and all of a sudden the bill was $200 and they lowered it to $166. I wasn't going for that and we settled on $140. I will probable be going elsewhere in the future

This was my first time ever at a Big O location. I had driven across the country and needed standard work done (oil change, alignment check, brake check, etc). When I arrived I had to wait almost 10 minutes while the gentleman was on the phone in the office behind the counter area. Then he was frazzled. That is the best way I can describe it. Check in was odd and I was not sure when I left how long it would be or if he even wrote down everything I wanted to be done. He was very distracted. Never got a phone call that the vehicle was done. When I called to check, the new gentleman who was helping me had NO IDEA what had been done to my vehicle. He said it was done and ready to be picked up though. The other first guy who checked me in had just gotten back apparently and he put me on hold to talk to him but came back with no more information than he had before except that it had an oil change and it "looked like" the alignment had not needed to be done and that the brakes were ok. Went to get the vehicle and no new information could really be provided once I got there except confirmation that I had gotten the oil changed and they said they rotated my tires. That was all I was charged for and I wanted a cheaper oil change but somehow gotten a "deal" with better oil that I was not aware of. The first guy when I checked in pointed to a mat on the counter and said which one of these do you want.... I chose the standard oil change and thought my coupon would work with that and the guy knew I had a whole sheet of coupons. The new guy who checked me out flipped the mat over and go figure, there were cheaper options on that side of the mat. The first guy did not show me this side and apparently my coupon did not work on the oil change that I had picked. Again, go figure. I had to wait another 10 minutes or so to get checked out as BOTH of the guys were going in and out of the bay areas and both were frazzled. Rough day he said when checking me out. So I have NO clue what was or was not done to my vehicle. I hope that I did in fact at least get the oil changed and tired rotated but neither one of the guys seem to have a clue and just went by what was on a sheet of paper for my vehicle. I do not plan to ever return to this location or any BIG O again. Very unprofessional. It was like they were all falling apart and I have no idea why that was or why no one could give me a solid answer as to what the heck had been done to my vehicle and why the mat was not flipped over so that I could have gotten a cheaper oil change is beyond me. If you go there, flip the mat over for other oil options though. Disappointing. Stressful. The person checking out before me also had this face of "what the heck is going on" as he was checking out too. Not good.

Your service team diagnosed myvan and told me I needed a new battery and a new alternator. We did replace battery. We decided to take it for a second and third opinion on the alternator. First place was Sears auto and they told us that the alternator worked fine the tested it with air and radio running. We then took it to a different Big o tire on Durango near Twain. They also tested the alternator loaded. And said that the voltage was where it needed to be 13 and a new alternator was not needed. I do not think that's very good business practice from ur Charleston/Hualipi store.

To:store028891 Details Dear Sirs, I wanted to let you know of my experience at your store yesterday. First of all , the reason I come to your store in the first place is I had a flat about a year and a half ago and your staff fixed it for free.That service impressed me so that I didn't consider another tire store. I was very disappointed with the service yesterday,however. I made an appointment with Edgar?for 11:00 and arrived a few minutes early. When I arrived the manager-in-training took my order for two tires and told me to come back in an hour. I came back an hour later and my car wasn't ready. Instead the manager-in -training showed me a lug nut that the tech snapped off my wheel and explained that the previous service station put it on wrong and his guy wasn't at fault. He also said he could get the part in an hour.Why didn't he call me when it was snapped or just order it instead of waiting for me and wasting more time. I told him I didn't want to wait another hour,which I ended up doing anyway because no one would finish the service on my car.. After about 20 minutes with no communication ,I paid for the tires and service and the manager told me it would be right out. ,but my car was still on the lift. I was looking at my car for an additional 20 minutes from the service window and no one was doing anything to the car. I finally stopped Edgar? and asked him to find out what was going on . He went in and found out the car was done and dropped it off the lift gave me my key and pulled it out. As the car came out of the garage ,I saw that the left front hub cap wasn't on when I questioned Edgar, he picked it up and asked me if I wanted him to throw it in the trunk. Really!!!!! I told him that i wanted the hub cap put back on the wheel where it should have been in the first place. Was I supposed to go home and jack the car and put it on myself? The goodwill that made me your customer went right out the window as a result of this experience yesterday. I'm not the type to Yelp review this for the whole world to see , but i wanted to express myself to you directly. If I took the time to write this email, you can probably guess that I wasn't very happy and won't return for service in the future. Sincerely, Paul Pirollo PS. I feel like i was sold a bill of goods. Your warranty is a scam. They said there was wear on my tires and would not cover under your supposed warranty. I had the tires rotated and serviced two months ago so that is a bunch of bullshit

The store manager did not manage my and/ or anybody else's expectations of how long it would take to provide the service. As a result of which we were all unhappy with how long it took to provide us with service. The store was not particularly clean, management and attendants were unfriendly and sometimes unavailable. After I phoned in to make an appointment to replace my car's tires, when I got to the store they still have not looked into whether they have the tires available they have quoted for. Most importantly, when I got my car back the driver seat was smeared with dirty grease which is evident from the fact that the mechanics did not put a plastic cover over the seats. I did not even both to ask them to clean it - I just left and cleaned it myself. In short, the quality of service was unprofessional, the store poorly managed, a mess, and left many people leaving unhappy, including myself. This is the worst service I have received since arriving in the US two years ago, appalling!!

Store manager was a pleasant person to deal with but his assistant Nick was the most passive aggressive person that I have encountered in a service business. He was unpleasant over the phone and worse in person. He's in need of a major customer service training intervention. I will never walk into this particular facility.

We brought our Honda Odyssey van in for a leak of an orange fluid (power steering fluid), and the technician discovered a stripped out oil drain plug that he determined to be the problem.Well, that was barely leaking, and they didn't look at anything else.A couple hundred bucks later, I picked up the van and took it home.Later I went to check on the leak, and the garage floor showed an even worse leak than before.Took it back and now they discovered the power steering pump high pressure line was leaking (as it was before).So another couple hundred bucks and days/hours of my time wasted to fix what was the original problem.

Came in for a 9am appointment. Guy said between 1-2 hrs, tire will be at the store (will be ordered from outside). Went home, ran errands, came back to the store around noon. From noon til almost 2pm I WAITED!!! Guy came up to me only once and asked me if that was my Mercedes. Not even a sorry that I WAITED ALMOST TWO HOURS! I didn't tell them that I had to work 12 hours that night, would they care? There was a guy waiting, his car was worked on right away because his bill iwas $800ish. Also, there's a lady that waited for more than hour. And when she became restless, she asked the lady at the counter for update. It turned out that her car was parked half into a bay and had never been worked on yet. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY POOR FOLLOW THROUGH. SMH. (Although the techs give good service when they put in air in my cars' tires). You're main problem here is your front liners.

I arrived at 10am with a flat tire... 20mins later they took the tire and said it would be about 2hrs for them to look at and see if can be repaired. 3hrs later I had not heard a thing, so I called and was told they would look at it now and call me back. Another hour passed and still nobody had called... went back down there and was finally told tire had to be replaced ( fine it's under warranty) but still nobody had called or done a thing. The manager finally came up to the counter and was most helpful he took care of it immediately and even personally went to another store to grab the tire... but almost 5 1/2 hours of my day was spent fixing 1 tire! Customer service was horrible until the manager arrived.
