Had an oil change, about an hour after I left (after waiting 2.5 hrs for it to be done) my oil light came on then my check engine light came on. Took it back in, they had it for about 30 more minutes then said it was fixed, never told me the issue.

After going to a local garage for the last 30 years I switched to Big O Tires after an emergency & my local garage did not have time to help. I have since been a regular customer & have purchased tires there. The customer service is wonderful but most of all I trust them. They do not overcharge or suggest work that does not need to be done. I go to the Bih O Tires dealership on Republic Road in Springfield, Missouri, the manager, Jason, always remembers my name, even if I've not 4/5 months. I've recommended this business to all my friends.

I have taken all my cars to Big O Tires and I will continue to take them there. I feel as though they treat me fair and they are honest. I don't think they tell me I need repairs, that I don't really need. The manager Jason is amazing. Keep up the great work!

I have visited this store several times with mostly good to say. This last time was not one of them. My wife drops the car off and and says to call me with questions or updates. They called and left a voicemail. I called back and the guy with the information about the car was unavailable and someone else tried to explain what was going on and really didn't seem to know what was going on. Their is more and I don't know if there is enough room. All in all not very good service and feel like I got over charged. $90.00 to replace two lug nuts. Their labor rate is $75.00/hr so it took more than an hour. Do believe I will go back or recommend this store.

Purchased two new tires and one replaced the spare that had to be used temporarily but instead of the spare being put back in its place under the truck it was placed loose in the bed of the truck. I took it for granted the spare would be put back where it is supposed to be stored.

Made an appt. for Fri. 4:30pm. Was told when I arrived it would be another 30 to 45 min. wait. couldn't wait that long. Rescheduled for next morning 8:30am. when I arrived had to wait at least 30 min. before they got me in.My oil change and tire rotation took a good 2 hours. Not sure if making an appt. is even a good idea. Been coming to this location since it opened, 1st time this unhappy.

Had 9am appointment. Checked at 10am and car not touched and still in parking lot. Got a call about replacing rear brakes all of which were just replaced a year prior. Makes me wonder how honest mechanics are or they just jacking up the bill.

Took over 2 hours for a tire rotation. I also asked them to clear a tire pressure light which they didn't do, but I didnt have the additional time to sit and wait.

ON June 2, 2020 @APPROX. 1:38 PM. MY DAUGHTER (20 YRS OLD) WENT INTO BIG O TIRES 1503 W Republic Rd, Springfield, MO 65807. PH. # (417) 890-5000, FOR A VEHICLE STATE INSPECTION FOR $12.00. ABOUT 4:00 PM THE SAME DAY, I CALLED NICK MOSHER WHO IS AN EMPLOYEE AT THIS STORE. I ASKED WHY MY DAUGHTER WAS CHARGED $338.97 FOR A THIRD BRAKE LIGHT FOR A 2009 MITSUBISHI GALANT AND A $15.00 LABOR CHARGE FOR 2 LITTLE SCREWS. I WAS TOLD THE PART WAS BOUGHT FROM AUTO ZONE. I REQUESTED A RECEIPT FOR AUTO ZONE SO I COULD PAY OFF ACIMA (THE FINANCE COMPANY) AND TAKE THE BULB/LIGHT BACK AND END UP PAYING A THIRD OF THAT THROUGH AMAZON OR AUTO ZONE. PROBABLY EVEN CHEAPER THAN THAT IF I EVEN TRIED. NICK MOSHER TOLD ME THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THAT AUTHORITY AND THAT HE WOULD NEED TO CONTACT HIS MANAGER JASON ELAM AND TO CALL THE NEXT DAY. ON June 3, 2020, I CALLED MR. ELAM WHO IS THE STORE MANAGER AND TRIED AGAIN TO REQUEST A REFUND FOR THE BULB/LIGHT. MR. ELAM STATED HE WOULD HAVE TO CONTACT A TERRITORY MANAGER MEL ATTEBERRY AND TO CONTACT HIM THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. ON June 4, 2020, I AGAIN CALLED MR. ELAM TO SEE WHAT MY OPTIONS WERE TO FIX THE SITUATION. MR. ELAM STATED "WE HAVE DUE DILIGENCE TO MARK UP PARTS IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY AND THAT THE SAME BULB GOES FOR OVER $500 FOR A 2009 MITSUBISHI GALANT THIRD BRAKE LIGHT BULB/ BRAKE LIGHT." MR. ELAM ALSO TOLD ME THAT THEY BOUGHT THE PART FROM LOWE AUTOMOTIVE FOR OVER $235.00. I TOLD HIM I FOUND THE SAME BULB/LIGHT ON AMAZON FOR $111.00 AND AUTO ZONE FOR $199.00. A FEMALE CHILD GOES IN FOR A $12.00 INSPECTION SO SHE CAN GET TAGS FOR HER CAR. BILL COMES BACK BEING $413.36. I TRY TO TEACH MY KID TO DO THINGS ON THEIR OWN. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS? THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN TO 45 YEAR OLD MALE. NEVER! THIS BUSINESS DOE NOT CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER WHAT SO EVER. I TRIED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE 3 TIMES... I WAS DENIED ALL THREE TIMES. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THAT IT IS NOT RIGHT TO MARK UP A BULB/LIGHT THAT MUCH FOR THEIR COMPANY TO MAKE MONEY.

In the absence of the general manager Jason and the DM Joe had to help with a fuel pump and computer problem that seemed impossible. Even though the original problem ended up being extended and there was a dispute over responsibility of costs, the staff calmly asserted a solution that was amenable to all parties and did excellent work making the tough situation right. Very pleased.

I got an oil change. I asked the clerk if there are grease fittings on my vehicle that need lubrication. He said "I don't know. I was not the one under the car". He was sarcastic as if I had asked a dumb question.
