Bought 4 new tires for my truck and specifically told the salesman "do not put wheel weights on the outside on my wheels" I came back 2 hours later and my truck was done and sitting in the parking lot and had wheel weights on the outside of all 4 wheels. It's not as easy as having them take the wheel weights off and rebalance them because now every place they put on a wheel weight the clear coat on the wheel will start flaking off. Just wish people would pay attention and do what they are told to do.

Brought my car in to have the TPMS changedo out. Provided the parts. No one called to tell me my car was done. Had to call myself to find out it was ready to be picked up. They didn't reset the system so the low tire pressure light was still on. Had to fix the light issue myself. Very disappointed in the service.

I will give them one more chance, but since Marvin left I have not had good service experience. The first oil change I had after he left it took almost 2 hours to complete. The second, which was Saturday, the 9th, I had a 10:00am appointment. I told them to call me as soon as it was done but that I was leaving it there as I had an appointment. I didn't hear from them and realized it was 3:00pm. I called and they had closed! They never called me. I shouldn't have let time get away from me either, I should have called to check in earlier, but I shouldn't HAVE to do that. They should have called. What would have happened had I not called in time to get a hold of the manager? I wouldn't have had access to my vehicle till after I had to be at work on Monday. The assistant manager was very nice when I called and did apologize.

The guys up front always bend over backwards to take care of me. I can find cheaper tires but not the service.

I buy 2 year tags for my car. In 2015 during state inspection, They found a bad RF wheel bearing among other things that did need work on. They replaced it on 3/19/2015. It was replaced again on 9/23/2015 due to defect. At that time Lawrence recommended I upgrade to a better bearing (Precision with a 3 year warranty) for an additional $25.19, which I did. During state inspection this year for tag renewal they found that bearing also to be defective (less than a year and a half later). I was initially told that there was only a one year warranty on that bearing even though I had paid more for a bearing with a longer warranty. When I pointed out the fact that I paid extra for the better warranty and showed my original bill for the upgrade replacement, Lawrence then agreed to replace the bearing at no charge but still made me pay labor which I feel shouldn't have applied, just as it did not apply when the first new bearing was replaced for being defective. I like the store and it's conveniently close to me, but I don't feel I should have had to pay additional labor under these circumstances. I am on a fixed income (Social Security only) so every dollar counts with me. To add insult to injury, I wasn't even offered a military discount this time. Respectfuly John (Tony) Stomboly

As always, our last visit to the Big O in Nixa was beyond what we expected. Thank you everyone for your attention to the details. Lawrence, Geoff, and Kyle are on the front line and we appreciate them each and every time we bring a vehicle in for service. You are always on the top for recommendation! We even carry your business cards in our store. Thanks again. It is much appreciated. Dow and Linda Whiting Garden Adventures Nursery

My last car, I was able to keep going until 314k. At this point, due to a back injury, I prefer not to change my own oil. At Big O, I show up, drop my car off, and pick it up a few hours later with minimal human interaction. Getting greeted at my car would weird me out. Offers for free alignment checks and credit cards would make me question the integrity of the company and make me reconsider returning for tires or other services. It's a trusted place to take your car for service. Don't turn it into a mall dept store with the awkward "get 10% off today if you apply for a cc" type of place that people start avoiding.

i just don't know how to start, its even more embarrassing write it down, no greeted at all, i did have to ask about free alignment check, credit card? honestly i would it apply for it if i know it, maybe my fault i should check myself online? i don't know, it was so weird, maybe because my appointment was at 3pm and everyone is tired? anyway, when my car was done the ''gentlemen'' at the counter told me they couldn't reset TPS because the panel was in Spanish and they can't read it so they can't do anything about it, then i tell this guy that i haven't change any language in my panel and at that point change for a ok service to a really bad situation when i saw his face expression following with the answer that says well i repeat, is in Spanish and is nothing i can do about it and i respond i understand you point but you are not understanding mine, i haven't change that to Spanish and because i'm Hispanic it doesn't mean that i have it like that so he proceed to charge me, tell me how much it was and i tell them if i should wait to this issue is resolve and he said no need, i will call the tech that work on your vehicle, he grab the phone, call the guy via intercom and slam the phone, at that point i was feeling guilty, asking myself what i did wrong? what should i do? how i can correct this embarrassing situation? so i paid and the he just tell me go out, the tech will go with you to the car, that's it, ''noting else'', went to the tech and i'm explaining to him that i haven't change anything so the tech tell me don't worry, im not sure about it but lets try to figure this, he seats in my SUV, put the key in it and the first thing i saw in the panel wasn't English, wasn't Spanish but it was French (yes French) and i told the tech that that's no Spanish, that's French so he play with it for like 10 second and change the language to English, reset my TPS and then mentioned that when he check the alignment it didn't need it so i tell him that i just got charge for it so the tech told me to go in and tell the guy at the desk, went to the desk, explain the guy about the charge on alignment that i didn't get and the situation about the language in my panel, it was in French no Spanish and what the tech tell me about it that he may change it by accident, all i got back from him was complaining about how the other person didn't change the amount or why did they put that i got alignment done when it wasn't, no apologies what so ever for any of the inconvenience, drove home thinking in what i did wrong, should i call and ask or apologies if i did something wrong? i mean, it was a really bad taste but what could i do wrong if all i want was a full set of tires? i totally forgot about it till i got this email yesterday and it took me till today thinking if i should fill up this feedback but i really need to take this out of me, it wasn't fair for me and is not fair for anyone else, is just not right, i have been working in hospitality business for a long long time and i don't need to have years of experience to know that this is wrong. the funny part now is that i have 800 dollars set of tires that if something happen during warranty time i can't go back knowing that it may something like that happen again so i guess i'm screw up with an 800 set of tires and i have to take my tires somewhere else and paid for it having warranty, please don't let this to happen to anyone else, it doesn't feel good, is just not right. Thanks.

I have worked and owned a full service station I have done this work for many years before I retired. When I arrived 15 min. early for my appointment there were no vehicles in the service bays,12:45 the techs were standing around talking, my truck didn't get in till 1pm. the time of my appointment. they didn't do anything to it till 1:30 when they opened the hood, I asked why the hood was up they informed me they were doing a 21 point inspection to see if it needed anything, I watched the tech work in slow motion thinking why does this guy have a job. what I would typically do in 30 min. inc. a 21 point check, took an hour and a half, most people know it doesn't take that long to do this . Having done this work for many years as an employee and owner this is costing the store a lot of money in wasted time that could produce more profit for the store if the owner were watching, to say nothing about the customer. I was going to say something and thought it would never get to the person who needs to know. Glad you sent me this. This is the seventh time I have been there and spent on average of 700.00 per visit. Paid for an oil change three times and they only changed the filter. Almost lost my car because of their laziness.

Well first I'd like to say we are never coming back here again!!! Dropped off our vehicle to have a flat repair. That's it!! we were told it would take about an hour. Two and a half hours later we called and they still haven't even touched it. Seriously!!! So bc we didn't stay we just got looked past. That's what it sounds like to me. Then they said oh well it's next. Yeah right we said "we will be there in an hour to pick it up. Let me just say it better be done. Worst service ever. Never go here. I will comment again when I pick it up. Pissed off customer. We will never come back and will tell everyone else not to also.

Fair or not, auto repair has a reputation that could not be described as trustworthy. I have been using BIG O TIRES in Nixa for about a year since we moved into the area and thus far, have found them to provide appropriate and reasonably priced service. To date, they have said that I did not need to have work done on my Silverado for which they could have done and charged me for.
