Really kind of disappointed. Dropped over $700 on something we didn't need.

They said I would have to drop the car off because they needed to do diagnostics - their shuttle is not running (thank you covid) and it created a problem for me to do anything but wait at the shop. They paid for an Uber driver to take me to work, so I missed no work (and no pay) while they worked on the car! The repairs on my car are often not inexpensive, but they work with me - and this time I get a $50 rebate card. Thank you!

I brought a lawn and garden tire in to have it repaired. It had a slow leak and the bead on the rim finally came loose. It was 4:00 on Saturday and they were busy. I got the tire back at 5:10 which was past closing time and i thank them for working late. The tire had 25-30 lbs of air in it (max for the tire is 14 lbs.). I put it on the tractor the next morning and reduced the air pressure to 15 lbs and proceeded to start it. The tire rolled for less than 2' and it went flat. Apparently, the 25 lbs was the thing that was holding the tire to the rim. There was not adhesive or whatever is used as a seal between the tire and the rim so naturally the tire went flat and I have to make another trip to get them to fix it properly. Too much time spent on an easy fix.

I went in for an oil change, tire alignment, and transmission flush at 1:00pm. I was told it would take approximately 1-2 hours. At 2:15pm, I received a call asking if I wanted my break fluid to get changed as well. I asked how much longer it would take. They said 30-40 minutes extra, and the latest it would be done was 3:30pm. I agreed to have this done. Little did I know, it was not ready until 4:15pm. I had to cancel an appointment I had scheduled because they were much later than the quoted time. I would have NEVER agreed to add on the break fluid maintenance if I knew it was going to add over an hour and fifteen minutes to my total time. The front desk assistant I dealt with was nice enough to give me a free oil change gift certificate as a sign of good faith, but I still wanted to bring it to someone's attention through this review.

They were more than accommodating. I did not deserve the level of customer service I received with how rude I was about my situation. They took the time even after I was rude to them to show me issues that I needed to resolve. The main issue was solved and they gave advice to prevent future issues also. Mad at myself I didn't show more respect. They could have kicked me out for how rude I was.

I came in with a tractor tire originally bought at Big O. It had a slow leak. I thought it was valve stem. It wasn't. It was a hole in the tire. Whoever made the decision to only plug the hole made a bad decision. Whoever made that decision did not call me to see what I would prefer. I could have put a plug in the damn tire. Plugs work well for tires riding on asphalt or concrete roads. It has been my experience they do not work well on tractor tires. I was expecting a call if it was not the valve stem. If it was not the valve stem, I would have asked for a full repair, not an externally applied plug. As I said, I could have plugged it with my materials at home and saved the 20 bucks. I don't take a tire to a tire shop to get a plug put in...I come to a tire shop so they can remove the tire and do a full repair. At the very least the shop should have called after the leak was diagnosed and asked what sort of repair I wanted. I would not have chosen a plug on a tire for the front of a tractor which is never on asphalt or concrete except to park it.

My wife had an appointment to have her oil changed, including a tire rotation since we purchased our tires there. Once complete she was notified that they had done something to cause an oil leak, not exactly sure what happened. I do know the next morning their was a large oil spill on our garage floor. She had an appointment to have the repairs made at their cost. She dropped off the car at the scheduled time (2018 model) to have it repaired, told 2-3 hour repair. After 2.5 hours she returned, the vehicle was still parked in the same spot. Nothing had been done. What would you do? She asked them to top off her oil and Big O asked her to drop it off again in the future.

I am usually a Discount Tire customer, but after looking at reviews I decided to try Big O. We were traveling through and they opened an hour earlier so I thought that would get us back on the road earlier. While we were greeted nicely and the staff was friendly that turned into a false sense of security. After taking my name, I asked about how long, there was only one other gentleman in the waiting room at 7:10 am. They said, oh an hour or so. An Hour later they called me to look. We had a slow leak in the tire. The nail was near the edge of the tread. I know if it is too close to the side wall sometimes it cannot be repaired. They told me it was too close and showed me the tire. Then they proceeded to tell me since it was too close and could not make the repair the opposing tire would need to be replaced. He launched into the tread depth of the opposing tire. With it where it was they could not just replace the one tire. This all makes sense except he said well we are pretty sure Subaru doesn't allow it either. So I am thinking in my head, okay I might be looking at purchasing 2 tires. They then proceed to say they can sell me a whole new set of FOUR. I asked if they could put the tire back on, and they did, I asked this since he mentioned he wasn't sure about Subaru. I thanked them and proceeded to the Subaru dealership. 25 minutes after arriving at the Subaru dealer in town I was back on the road with a repaired tire, NOT a new set of Four. The dealer said the nail where it was would not be a problem to repair and if it had been, the opposing tire would not have to be replaced. It was well with the range, so it would not have caused an issue to only replace one tire. I will not be returning to a Big O Tires.

Pleasant and professional! The protection plan I purchased for my tires is a great value! Service was very prompt even though the location was very busy. The whole team was working together and taking care of all the customers with speed and precision. Very impressive!

Wow, where do I start with this review. Needed two tires for my boat trailer and ran into issues getting them put on immediately. I was quoted one price in the phone which then I found out was only for the tire. Its $16.95 per tire plus a shop fee to have the tire mounted. Also, I asked about price matching and was told that it had to be the exact make and model tire for them to price match. The competitor across the street will price match for a similar tire (e.g. 215/75R14 "C" load rating) w/o it being the exact same brand or model. Unless your related to the store manager, wait his card say "Vice-President", I would HIGHLY encourage you to visit D&D Tire (local guys that are always price competitive) or Discount Tire (just across the street and easy to work with) instead of this shill joint.

The guy I talked to on the phone quoted me one price and billed me another.

I really liked the employees. They were all very nice and helpful. I liked that my car was fixed that was the main thing I wanted out of the experience so.

I had some brake work done on my car a few days ago, and without completely checking it out, drove onto the turnpike, speed limit 75. Too late, I realized that my new brakes were not up to turnpike driving. Took a while to stop, but there were no emergencies yesterday. Anyway, I lived to tell the tale, but it was risky driving. I'll take the car back in next week, after I write a complete explanation of what did not work right on the brakes, as well as my opinion on what the trouble spots might be. BUT on MANY other occasions, I had work done at Big O, and the service work was fine. Every once in a while, things just don't go well.

Never a long wait to get in, price seems fair
