I came in to have a battery swapped out. I was told my positive battery terminal was bad. Not sure how but it was. Maybe they saw something I didn't. I know it was not corroded on any of the visible sides I could see. I wouldn't call what they did a hack job, or shoddy work. I'm certainly not a fan of what they did. They stated they would splice a new battery terminal on I figured the existing cable was still good. They replaced the whole cable and terminal. Now I can not get the battery cover to fit over the battery. They used GAFF tape to cover up the "Splice" Gaff tape degrades in heat and the appropriate method would have been to use heat shrink tubing or replace the part with OEM. Big O simply did what they wanted. Did not consult me other than to get the ok to replace the terminal. I called Laird Noller and brand new cable would cost me $51.71 vs the $53 for this splice job. I've heard a lot fo good things about Big O from co workers. I figured I would give them a shot. Going to be a tough pill to choke down and return at this point.

Had issues the last time that were not even brought up this time. Not sure I can rely on what in told about issues other then tires and a oil change. I was told my cv boot was cracked last service and this time I was told everything is as just fine.

Always friendly, always knowledgible, and always willing to work with me on the repairs and pricing. This last visit, they thoroughly took care of my tire repair at no cost (thanks to their tire protection program), and through their free inspection, found several items that needed to be addressed but that I had not noticed. I consider this shop my "go-to" for all my auto repairs. Thanks Lawrence Big O!

I haven't had to write a poor review in the past, but this last service trip was a disappointing one. (I apologize in advance for the lengthy response.) I brought in my Jeep to run tests on the fuel emissions system because the engine stalled out while idling at a light and didn't engage like it should while on a hill. That was the primary reason it was brought in. I added an oil change because it had been months since it had been changed. I missed the initial phone call, but when I called back, the first things that were discussed were my wiper blades needed changing and my brake fluid looked like dark tea instead of apple juice. I had to remind the person calling of the real reason why I brought the vehicle in and had to re-explain the problem, even though it was clearly entered into the system when I brought the vehicle in. It was explained that nothing came through in the tests, so that was a relief, but potential other problems or things to look for were not offered. This was disappointing. What was also disappointing was that there was no mention of the oil cap being broken during service or that it needed to be replaced. When I picked the vehicle up, a different technician checked me out and there was no mention of it other than what was typed on the invoice sheet handed to me. I also was surprised to see the oil cap laying on my passenger seat when I got into the vehicle. There was some oil remnants on the cap, so it was lucky that the seats were leather and it was easy to clean up. However, if someone had sat down on that area, they may have gotten some oil on their clothing. I have taken two 2004 vehicles into Big O for years and spent thousands of dollars on maintenance. I have gotten to know many of the people there and am on a first name basis with some, so I hope that this is just a blip on the radar, but a trip like this makes me think about looking elsewhere. Again, I hate to have to write this, but it was poor enough that I thought someone should hear about it.

The crew is always very helpful and timely. I’ve never had an issue having somebody look at my car. I’m a repeat customer and have always been more than satisfied.

My tires are great but my alignment is still off . they told me my control arms that I just put on required a extra piece. And since I didnt have that piece then my alignment would pull to the right. then I called my car worker and he told me no If they knew what they were doing then they would get it straight. I came back inside and told them what my car worker said and they then changed there story and said oh no we have a way to make it straight. It is still not straight. I tested it when I got home and it leans to the right. they also for some reason were messing with my windows which has nothing to do with tires. and rolled down a broken window,. They did not tell me sorry they didnt know and that they had rolled it down nor did they try to fix it. I found out once I got in the car.

I scheduled an appointment for oil change, rotation, flush & fill and brake check. On my way to appointment water pump went out. Called yo let them know where I was. They offered to arrange a tow in (was only 3 miles from the store) told them I had roadside coverage and would be there as soon as I could. Since missing my appointment they worked at getting my truck in so we would still be able to leave on Sunday for vacation. Since moving to Lyndon (an hour away) we were referred to this location from where we moved from and I can see why, they are as customer service oriented as Grand Island’s north store. Thank you !

I had went the day before and they said there was an hour wait, so I decided to make an appointment for the next day. The next day I arrived at my appointment time and it still took an hour!!! If you make an appointment, that's the timethey should be taking your car back.

Indeed the oil was changed and tires were rotated as expected. I could tell that the glove box was opened to get the lug nut key out because of the greasy hand print on it and the tan leather seat (second time this has happened). The problem of vibration, though improved, was not resolved even though I was told it was taken for a test drive afterwards. The vibration is now in the rear instead of the front. The front break pads that were reported at 3mm were 5mm when I changed them myself. This too has happened before.

I brought my car in because it has a specific problem that I explained in detail. I have a 2016 Chevy Cruze - a model that is known to have a soft brake pedal. I told them that we'd done some research and this is what the issue was. I get a call a couple of hours later letting me know that my rear brakes needed an adjustment. I replied will that fix the soft brake pedal issue and was assured that it would fix it. There was something else that needed to be fixed so I okayed it and have seen a noted difference in how my car handles and drives so I'm at least glad to have done that. Back to my brake issue - it is not fixed. I still have a soft brake pedal which I will need to take to a Chevy dealer to have addressed when it could have already been fixed. I'm a little peeved, quite frankly. When I picked up my car, I even asked "will this fix my soft brake pedal issue?" to which I was told it would. To clarify with this: I explained that we knew what the issue was after a lot research. I asked, repeatedly, if their course of action would in fact fix the problem and was told it would. My soft brake pedal issue is NOT fixed. Outside of that, the customer service reps were friendly. However, that is greatly overshadowed by the fact that my car's issues are NOT fixed and I will have to address them somewhere else who will listen to what is wrong. I feel that my giving this location two stars is generous and mostly based on my interactions with its employees.

I had come back to Big O because that is where I purchased my tires 2 mo ago. I had gotten a screw in my tire and brought my vehicle in to have it repaired. I was told it was too close to the shoulder to fix, after sitting and waiting for 45 min. Then they put my tire back on but forgot to balance the tire so now I have a horrible wobble in the tire that now I have to drive 30 min back to Lawrence to have it balanced. Just poor service in my opinion.

Took car in for oil and filter change and tire rotattion. After getting the car home I looked under the hood and noticed the radiator overflow reservoir cap was missing. When I called in the next day I talked with an individual named Trevor. He told me that their were no notes that the cap was missing. He also said the technician who worked on my car was off duty and he would be off duty until Tuesday. He asked me to call him back on Tuesday. Why is Trevor putting the problem on me? I would expect Trevor to call me back. The "problem" was caused by negligence on the part of the technician. I called in to report the problem. Now it is starting to turn in to a headache. I searched the internext and a cap replacement is around $7 with shipping costs of $14 for a total of around $21.

They understood my needs and performed their services to expectation. They had a good amount of knowledge on the matter and were able to respond quickly and efficiently.
