Big O Tires

Mike and his crew at Big O in Brownsburg did a great job as usual. Four new tires mounted and balanced, new passenger side upper control arm, alignment, and an oil change. The Cooper Discoverer LSX Plus tires are much smoother and quieter than the factory Goodyears ever were. A great recommendation from Big O. Additionally ,Big O had a buy three tires and get one free promotion. Then when I paid I was also given paperwork for a $50 prepaid Visa from Cooper Tires. Made a good deal even better.

Owner and employees are always polite, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Daughter had a blowout on the interstate in a construction area. We had to nurse her car there after hrs. on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to fill out an envelope and leave the key in a secure box and the car in the parking lot. They had everything finished we requested by the time we got off work Monday. They have always been good to my elderly parents, my girls and us. They were recommended to us a couple years ago and we’ve been going there since. I would highly recommend them to any. Thank you.

It all worked out better than expected

My car had a horrible noise following new tires being installed. i returned the following business day, and they insisted it was a balance issue without driving it. After assessing, They said it was off slightly and sent me on my way. Of course, the grinding noise was still present. When I returned, they said they didn't know they were listening for a noise and only agreed to drive it once I asked. Upon driving, they said my wheel bearing was bad, but that I should hold off on fixing. The wheel bearing was never looked at, this was merely a guess after driving. Two hours down the road, my TPS monitor came on. After pulling into another tire store in Ohio, they determined the TPS sensor hadn't been reset with the new tires. Meanwhile the grinding noise is worse and this was not present prior to the new tires. I'm not pleased, as it seems everything was rushed in order to move customers out faster, without a real concern for the problem. I'll have to return again once I get back into town.

I stopped into Big O to check my front tires. The associate came out and told me I needed two front tires and that he could get me in right away. Was in and out in 15 minutes with two new tires for a great price. Superb service and a very satisfied customer. Really didn't expect this and thought I would have to make an appointment but shocked to see how easy the process ended up being. 10 out of 10 for sure.

I was very disappointed on this last visit. I quit Discount Tire earlier this year after 30 + years with them and started taking my business to you, after my wife heard good things about Big O on the Brownsburg Chatter page on Facebook. A couple of months ago I bought three tires from you and added a warranty to the recent (and last tire purchased) tire from Discount Tire about three weeks prior. I, too, was telling my friends and family how great my couple of visits were at Big O. In fact, I know for a fact at least one person I spoke to went and purchased a service from your location. Unfortunately, this last and most recent visit had me thinking Big O is not much different than the competition. I received an oil change and purchased two tires for our 2009 Impala. (we have four cars in our family) My windshield washer fluid "idiot light" was on because my fluid was out, and knowing that I had an appointment Monday I thought your service would fill it, so I did not. When I got in my car to leave Big O, the idiot light was still on, and the reservoir was bone dry. Apparently your tech did not see the odometer or check the fluid level? The check list indicated it was checked, perhaps the tech does "dry lab" your checklists? I asked if they normally fill it and the young man explained that it was on request only. (?) The checklist that you performed said that you checked fluids, and seeing it was bone dry (and warning light) they just left it empty? Secondly, they filled my new tires with the correct air pressure but did not adjust the existing two tires, which were considerably over the PSI that the two new tires were reading, 5-6 PSI in excess of what the new tires recorded. Shouldn't all tires be within the same pressure range? Now I am wondering if my other fluids like brake fluid need attention, or were they even checked? And if the other fluids were checked, were they not corrected because I didn't request that you "top off" ALL fluids? Regards, Rick Montgomery

EVERY TEAM MEMBER WAS SUPER NICE AND FRIENDLY, MY SERVICE WAS FAST, AND THEY OFFERED A BETTER ALTERNATIVE FOR A SERVICE THAT I HAD QUESTIONS ABOUT IN THE FUTURE!

I called ahead and asked for an alignment and a tire rotation. I dropped my car off and left it there for an hour or so. When I returned to pick up my car I was let waiting for a couple minutes for someone to greet me, and the team did not even do an alignment. The employee told me that I had to make an appointment but when I called no one had informed me of that. When i walk out to my car it was unlocked and no one told me where my car was so I found it on my own. I have used Big O for many years and in the last couple years the service has been terrible, I have avoided coming to this store because of the poor service.

Mike was awesome as usual helping me with my new wheels and tires selection. Truck dropped off and ready next day.
